Our pitching definitely hasn't been anything great. Not after all the hype. I guess it's been OK but some bad outings by each of the starters. Maybe Danks has had all good starts.

Where do you want him to bat? I think this lineup obsession is overrated. We got what, six hits again today? Seven? Lots of guys are sucking on a daily basis. I got no problem with beckman up high. I just want Pierre ninth to delay my bad mood every night.

Nice to be a glass half full guy and good post, but with all those positives our team has sucked big big time. Once again, like last year, team looks like it's upside is .500. And its downside like last year is not good.

I think what some of us are saying is it's bad to demote a guy actually doing a decent job. Kind of sad. It's not like there are many guys on our roster who have earned their paychecks yet this season. Most of us agree Lucy earned his, now he goes back to the bush leagues.

Do the Sox sometimes overvalue guys who do well against the Sox? Wasn't Teahen a Sox killer? Did that get KW and Oz salivating? He's nothing too special IMO.

Teahen is a scrub. Anybody who expected a lot out of him was misguided. How many series have we won this year with our pretty awful baseball club? One? 10-15 going into games against the equally lousy Royals. It's Teahen vs. Pods for bragging rights.

I would never say "should" with this team. We do the unexpected all the time the last two seasons.

That's true, but stats don't really matter in this case. He had so many runs to work with and he finished the game with us up on top. Leave the criticism for when we lose the darn game is how I look at it.

Pierre is Dwayne Wise, only paid about 10 times as much. Maybe worse than Wise. I liked Wise. Bat him ninth forevermore, please. We can stomach him at ninth maybe. I don't care who leads off as long as it's not Juan ever again.

We got three in the seventh, one in eighth and two in ninth. Why can't we score like that on a moderately consistent basis?

It might be his contract year, but he's been pretty darn consistent in his Sox career. That one bad stretch where a lot of people on here wanted him out of town two seasons ago. Paulie has been great for a long time.
