This is where we have to count on the Royals being s***. Cause an inning like that (first and second no out) and getting out of it tends to fire up the other team to no end. Ridiculous job, White Sox veteran power hitters. You 3 are a joke, at least in that particular inning.

I don't understand why Thome never just tries to make contact. Is that what all power hitters do? Do they never shorten the swing at all?

Nobody looks like an idiot over the lack of changes. Anybody with a clue (and one columnist, I think with the Trib did already write it) it was Ozzie being Ozzie. Ozzie is certifiably nuts; I happen to like that about him. He's a nutjob. My bet is though the nutjob will get fired next time he rips his "bosses."

Royals 4, Sox 1 Zack dominates like so many others have against our team this year We get 4 hits. Guillen hits two bombs for Royals.

With all due respect, that is stupid. No man who is a professional would resign or ask to be reassigned. I'm not a big Walker fan but I believe Oz in that article where he said he works his ass off.

This game may tell us a lot about our team. Unless it gets rained out ... It's at home against a guy who has been outstanding this year in Greinke. The way we've folded against most "good" pitchers indicates we will have a s*** offensive game. After the Oz/KW flap, will we concentrate and smash the baseball? Or will Greinke pitch a 2 hitter? I hate to be negative nancy so I won't be.

I guess because he's an ex White Sox and ever since he's left we've had at least one hole in the outfield.

I really don't want to stir things up, but ... Aaron Rowand really is a heckuva baseball player.

I just wish the guys would play with the passion they will play with against the Cubs this time. I mean play hard and we'll kick the Royals' ass. Hit the ball where it's pitched and we'll kick the Royals' ass. Play like corpses and they will kick our ass. The Royals have woken up from their horrible slump. We are catching them at a bad time unless we go out and BEAT THEM. Take it for granted and they will mess us up.

Even though KW is obviously pissed — if he wasn't he wouldn't have referred to himself as Ozzie's "boss," I think it's good Oz got mad. I mean our offense is so bad it's laughable. I hope Oz hasn't dug himself a hole with this one, however. It's more of Oz being Oz, but if KW is mad this time, it's not one to completely laugh off. I think Oz may have to fire Walker to get out of this one. You know, it might not be a bad idea. Somebody has to be the "fall guy" for this offense. Just re-assign the guy. Walker is probably the best man in the world. It's sounds like he's a special person. But somebody has to take the fall for this offense. Look at the Royals ... they have woken up since Billy Butler became the fall guy. Unless we put Paulie on the DL or send down Swisher or trade Thome ... it's Walker who must go. Or we just laugh this one off again as Oz being Oz after he makes all the proper apologies about KW tomorrow when the writers have to cover the fallout from this on their off day.

It might be nonsense out of frustration tonight but how are we going to do anything with this horrible offense? How has Oz overcome this pathetic offense?

Because of our hitting the Sox have to be the most frustrating, worst first-place team in the history of baseball. My god does our offense suck. You just have to wonder how long we can stay in the race with such pathetic offense.
