6/3 - Sox vs. KC, 7:11 CT, WCIU
This game may tell us a lot about our team. Unless it gets rained out ... It's at home against a guy who has been outstanding this year in Greinke. The way we've folded against most "good" pitchers indicates we will have a s*** offensive game. After the Oz/KW flap, will we concentrate and smash the baseball? Or will Greinke pitch a 2 hitter? I hate to be negative nancy so I won't be.

I guess because he's an ex White Sox and ever since he's left we've had at least one hole in the outfield.

I really don't want to stir things up, but ... Aaron Rowand really is a heckuva baseball player.

Can't Help Being Pessimistic
I just wish the guys would play with the passion they will play with against the Cubs this time. I mean play hard and we'll kick the Royals' ass. Hit the ball where it's pitched and we'll kick the Royals' ass. Play like corpses and they will kick our ass. The Royals have woken up from their horrible slump. We are catching them at a bad time unless we go out and BEAT THEM. Take it for granted and they will mess us up.

Changes coming by Tuesday?
Even though KW is obviously pissed — if he wasn't he wouldn't have referred to himself as Ozzie's "boss," I think it's good Oz got mad. I mean our offense is so bad it's laughable. I hope Oz hasn't dug himself a hole with this one, however. It's more of Oz being Oz, but if KW is mad this time, it's not one to completely laugh off. I think Oz may have to fire Walker to get out of this one. You know, it might not be a bad idea. Somebody has to be the "fall guy" for this offense. Just re-assign the guy. Walker is probably the best man in the world. It's sounds like he's a special person. But somebody has to take the fall for this offense. Look at the Royals ... they have woken up since Billy Butler became the fall guy. Unless we put Paulie on the DL or send down Swisher or trade Thome ... it's Walker who must go. Or we just laugh this one off again as Oz being Oz after he makes all the proper apologies about KW tomorrow when the writers have to cover the fallout from this on their off day.

**White Sox vs. Rays** 5/31 Game Thread
It might be nonsense out of frustration tonight but how are we going to do anything with this horrible offense? How has Oz overcome this pathetic offense?

**White Sox vs. Rays** 5/31 Game Thread
Because of our hitting the Sox have to be the most frustrating, worst first-place team in the history of baseball. My god does our offense suck. You just have to wonder how long we can stay in the race with such pathetic offense.

Can you believe KC has lost 12 in a row? Shows what can happen to a season. A team's season can go in the tank in 2 weeks. KC is not that bad, but at this time the team looks like it will never win another game. Billy Butler is in minors after hitting 1 home run ... one. Let's hope he stays down there. He and Guillen are about the only 2 Royals who will threaten our staff.

What should Ozzie do with Swisher?
That's OZ's comment on Swish in the AP story on tonight's pathetic hitting effort. Swish needs to become Mr. Cliche and take it one at bat at a time. One pitch at a time. Also in the AP story is this gem: "Swisher went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts and has six hits in his last 37 at-bats (.162) and is currently batting .203 — below Paul Konerko (.209) and Jim Thome (.208)." Those are some lame numbers from some well-paid vets.

That's a Sox Loser Tonight
Did the Sox hitters fall asleep because of the horrific crowd? Or was it the Rays' pitching? Or was i ineptitude of Thome, Konerko, Swish? Contreras is my new idol. Great season thus far.

It's got to be .100 or worse.

What should Ozzie do with Swisher?
With our second baseman hitting pretty well, I'd bat Swish ninth. Why the hell are the Sox even thinking of letting Uribe back in the lineup? Ramirez is doing great, at least hitting wise. How's his defense been? No more Uribe!!

I don't know if Nick Swisher is capable of not sucking at baseball. Man, he has been soo bad. At some point, don't the Sox need to Billy Butler-ize Swish??

White Sox @ Rays 6:10pm CSNHD
Thome, Konerko and Swisher ... oh my. Horrible seasons for the big three. So tough to waste a two-run outing by the pitching staff on the road. Man we can't muster a win out of that! Life sucks when the Sox lose.

Are we sure he gets back to Chicago? Time to dump Juan. I don't care how much he's making.

That would be sweet to miss Zambrano. If we both are in first place those will be huge games. Look for bench clearing brawl in first game if both teams are in first.

It's Never too Early..............
There's no reason to ever play Uribe again. We're been doing well without him. Seriously does anybody in their right mind want to see Uribe bat for the White Sox again??

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER
Not me. Congrats, white sox. I also wouldn't have believed we've yet to play the Royals. Folks, if we dominate the Royals like they deserve to be dominated, we'll be in great shape in this division.

I agree about Konerko and the 15 day DL. Why not? We won't be out of the race after the next 15 days, knock on wood. It sounds like that's not a good injury for a power hitter.

Chicago White Sox @ Cleveland Indians
I didn't follow the game. I'm thrilled we won! 17 hits??? But just six runs. The 17 hits is very nice. Something to build on definitely for our offense.

C'mon Bobby; this would be a very sweet win!

Chicago White Sox @ Cleveland Indians
Thanx for the update. Swish is 0-for-4. My gawd. He should try to make an out; then it'd drop in. Has anybody ever had a worse start to a season that is a regular player in Sox history?

Chicago White Sox @ Cleveland Indians
Have just caught up with the game now. Let me guess. We have again failed to come up with the big hit many times. With 13 hits and just three runs, we musta had some frustrating at bats with men on base.

This ain't Byrd's year. It's time to do something offensively. If Thome goes hitless tonight, it's time to deal him. A.J. needs to start stroking the ball to all fields. If he can't hit home runs, and it appears he can't anymore, he needn't try to pull everything.
