Fathom and others who went to that atrocious game.... Was it as obvious in the stadium as watching on TV that after the second inning it was guaranteed we were not going to score a run?? That was a sad, sad hitting effort again. We win eight in a row ... we better not lose tomorrow and be barrelling toward a significant losing streak after playing well. What a dysfunctional offense! Great pitching AGAIN by the Sox.

Thome's last at bat obviously sucked. He was overmatched. Very disappointing. I just wish when the game is on the line he'd make contact and not try to hit the game winning homer. I realize that is who he is, however. Crede's last at bat sucked as well. Like Hawk, I thought the pitch before the K pitch was the one he coulda blooped into left or center for a game-tying single. Oh well ... disappointing but great game by Floyd. And great win streak. Why can't Swish hit????

That really is a cool quote. However while I agree Oz is a character, I am not convinced he doesn't have character. I don't think he's a bad guy. I don't know him, but I haven't read anything that would tell me he's a bad guy. I'm guilty of the F bombs myself sometimes. Seems like he's a good family man and quite possibly an all around good man.
