Milton Bradley?
He's hurt too much and well, he's an idiot. Not a good combination.

USC has no claim to be anywhere significant. They had their chance and lost two games and one was at home to Stanford. I'm tired of hearing about how great and talented they are. They choked.

I thought SIU forgot about getting the ball to Falker in the second half. For them to win, he had to have a better game than he did. They also had no answer for Gordon once he got going.

When was the last time the Sox signed a Boras free agent ?
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 16, 2007 -> 04:55 PM) Isnt Uribe a Boras client? He was, but he fired him after Uribe was traded to the Sox. He's now represented by Martin Arburua.

Contacting Sox players
I've mailed items for Buehrle to sign and received them back. The main key if you're planning to do that is to include a SASE inside and you should get it back if the player you write does sign. Some of them don't.

Who Ya Rooting For?
QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 12:24 PM) Rockies, because Red Sox fans are the most obnoxious, annoying fans I've ever seen. Their feats of ineptitude and idiocy are unparalleled in baseball, and this includes Cubs fans. Agree 100%. Go Rockies.

Luke Winn's first rankings on SI are out. IU is 11th and he mentions a certain blog quite prominently: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writ...ankings1/2.html

Mackey is out on $10,000 cash bond this morning and has a hearing scheduled for Oct. 16th. Unless this is all a mistake, there's no way he's going to IU. This is quite shocking to me as I've met the young man and spoken with him. By my accounts, he's a polite and soft-spoken kid. That said, he obviously has problems that need to be addressed and basketball should be the least of his concerns.

I've met Bud and he's a quiet, respectful kid. That said, there's no excuse for behavior like this and I'd say the chances of him ever coming to IU now are slim and none.

Elston is indeed a stud and is underrated. He'll end up top-50 in the 2009 class, IMO.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 08:25 PM) That's from midstate hoops. From what I've heard of him, he's basically got in the gym range but he lacks a bit on the defensive end. Funny, I got an email from the owner of that site the other day asking about joining a network they are forming.
