QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 22, 2005 -> 12:41 PM) Are you saying that there were no Republicans who demanded Clinton pull out of Somalia? i'm saying murtha is NOT A HAWK...

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 22, 2005 -> 12:18 PM) They met in Cairo because the Arab League hosted the pre-election reconcilliary talks between Shiite, Sunni, and Kurdish Iraqi fractions. why aren't these meetings held in Bagdad?... I here it is beautiful this time of year

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 06:01 AM) You are not off. And the White House immediately had Scotty Mac on the job attacking Murtha and calling him unpatriotic and the saame tired old bit. Attack the war vets when they oppose is something the administration has a lot of experience at. Murtha is as hawkish as a Dem can be, and he's really very conservative. But certainly he expected he would be attacked. He won't let them Swiftboat him and get away with it. murtha asked clinton to pull out of somalia... which clinton did... and bin laden later pointed to this as "emboldening" his fighters... some hawk

Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Iraqi leaders, meeting at a reconciliation conference in Cairo, urged an end to violence in the country and demanded a timetable for the withdrawal of coalition troops from Iraq. Why are these guys meeting in Cairo???? I say pull out the troops when these guys have the balls to meet in bagdad...

as they say "loose lips sink ships" and ya don't talk about what the CIA does cause the CIA does "dirty work" ...ya don't talk about agents 'cause it could endanger lives ... and ya don't talk about countries that help us cause it could also endanger lives... bush has to have enemies in the CIA that stuff like this gets out... I can't wait till bush is gone cause then we'll have world peace, palestine living peacefully with isreal, gas will be free, jobs will be aplenty, and the world will never have another natural disaster...
-
will there be an investigation into who leaked information about secret CIA prisons around the world... or is it OK to leak info that stains the bush administration?

QUOTE(southsider17 @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 01:44 PM) That's one reason I doubt it will be in Beverly. People here are already trying to crack down on the drunken revelry from the St. Pat's celebration. Abouts where are you? I'm at 91st and Winchester. I know I'm being nit-picky but it's "Beverly Area Planning Association". Mind if I ask who? Judith Miller is my source 81st and Kedzie

someone I know on the Beverly Area Planning Commission has not heard of a western ave. victory parade... so this route seems unlikely, but I'm still working the rumor...
