QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Dec 8, 2005 -> 12:24 PM) Coulter can make some good points when she doesn't let her smart ass and degrading comments in the way. I liken her to Bill Maher. They may have some good points for their sides of the spectrums, but their delivery is offensive and over shadows their points the majority of the time. Exactly.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Dec 8, 2005 -> 11:08 AM) Come on Balta, its called a protest. This lady appeases one side, and aggravates the other. Extremists are sure to cause trouble, whether it be a liberal or conservative speaker. Because you see conservatives interrupting speakers all the time, right. This type of behavior is commonplace for liberals who think their opinions are all that matter. Cindy Sheehan spoke at the same school and you have not heard of any interruptions of her drabble.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 7, 2005 -> 11:32 AM) If torturing terrorists saves one innocent life, prevents 1 suicide bomber from getting where hes going, stops one shooting before it starts, prevents one governmental official from being assassinated then its justified. I wont shed a single tear for people who hate America and want to kill as many of us as they possibly can. i like nuke....

Official College Basketball Thread
sec159row2 replied to greasywheels121's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
just want to enter a complaint about this forum... one thread for college basketball is outa control... i'm not going thru 60-some odd pages to find out the various topics that are being talked about... so please bear with me if i repeat topics..... how long will this thread be by march?... i wish i could offer a suggestion with my complaint, but I don't know the intricacies(sp?) of messege boards.... but, i guess this has worked in the past, personnally I stop reading threads after about the second or third page, cause at that point they get pretty redundant.... this being said... how many games will mike davis lose for indiana this year... outcoached back to back games... he's like a weatherman... he can be wrong and still have a job... -

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 1, 2005 -> 10:31 AM) The game's outcome obviously didn't come out as planned, but I'm pleased with the way IU's being viewed after last night. Here's an Andy Katz article: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bigtenacccha...andy&id=2243114 sorry grease, but with the lack of discipline, the hoosiers will not win much.. they have skill and heart, but in order for this group of individuals ( i can't say team) to win they will need more basketballs on the court... they will be as good as the old bob huggins cincy groups... also... why only thread for NCAA hoops? it's gonna get crowded.. -
i wish this pill was around when some of these posters were conceived actually, i'm not sure this is sarcastic...

did Howry leave the Sox on bad terms?
sec159row2 replied to LosMediasBlancas's topic in The Diamond Club
yes, steriods... but it was after his surgery so it could have been doctor prescribed to rehab ... this is only my speculation from how he looked when he came back from his surgery... he's a big guy anyway, he just had a "sta-puff" look to him -
