  1. And the media didn’t focus on the defense at all, the primary focus was the offense.
  2. NBC 5 Sounds like an offer was put on the table, for what it is worth? But it isn’t a legislative priority.
  3. I don’t really understand what the f*** the Bears want. Like, is the team needing tax breaks because George McCaskey is too fucking poor to pay for a stadium? And Kevin Warren is too ineffective at his job that he needs tax incentives from Indiana to get a new stadium built? The reporting suggests they need infrastructure around Arlington Heights. Pritzker discussed that with them and presumably offered it to them. They have to negotiate with the local tax body for the property taxes. What else does George and his old ass board need to get a stadium in Illinois? If the Bears move to Indiana and the White Sox move to Nashville, I may follow a message board and maybe coverage but something will be different. I’d want a new franchise to move in, like a MLB expansion team or the Chicago Jaguars, to fill a void. It sounds ridiculous, but something would be different for the fan base and it will turn some segment of the fan base off.
  4. I was cooking dinner so I had Joniak on and didn’t see this part of the game, but in terms of the situation, I would definitely have preferred running with Swift or Monangai there. Someone should definitely ask about that.
  5. Colts Head Coach Shane Steichen and GM Chris Ballard are safe in Indianapolis.
  6. Please explain. Specifically the Bears defense, in my opinion.
  7. Also forget what I said about Dennis Allen earlier this week lol
  8. Between Green Bay, the 49ers and the Rams, it might be best that they play a banged up Green Bay team since they can’t stop Nacua and CMC.
  9. Overall, they need to be better in the first few quarters. They can’t win at the latest minute with this inconsistent defense.
  10. Bad defense but what the hell kind of defensive playcall is that Allen?
  11. Something is up with Johnson too. Biggs alluded to Johnson sitting but not by choice in the last game.
  12. This is obvious, but their defensive line seems to be driven back and they lack a pass rush. If they play like they do today, they will be one and done in the playoffs.
  13. The offense hasn’t done anything, but they haven’t had much of a chance with the lousy defense being played.
  14. The Bears defense has been pathetic for weeks.
  15. “You fired up, man?” (Rich Eisen Show throwing bouquets at the Bears Despite their loss.)
  16. A lot of over analyzing that final play. DJ Moore apparently is on the opposite side jumping and waving for the ball since he’s open. Someone else out there saying Caleb should have thrown to Swift immediately to do a foot race for the score. Johnson said they didn’t line up in the way he wanted which he said is on him.
  17. Burden looked to get tied up with number 7 in the end, but I couldn’t tell what happened. Hopefully it wasn’t a major injury but Odunze really needs to get back if it was. Williams looked good but some of those throws where he missed should have been had. Some of the defensive penalties were dumb tonight. My concern is they will have to play against the Packers in the wild card round of the playoffs and lose at home this time. Call it Chris Conte PTSD.
  18. Seems like it’s a 24 hour bug that hit over Christmas.
  19. Joe Burrow trade chatter, a few Titans coaching candidates and what sources are saying around the NFL This piece hypothesizes how the Bears could lose Declan Doyle, Eric Bieniemy, Press Taylor or J.T. Barrett for an offensive coordinator position or Al Harris to be a DC. Unless Dennis Allen is considered to be cooked as a HC, I would be more concerned about losing him. Matt Nagy also mentioned as a possibility for the Tennessee HC position since he has ties to someone there.
