  1. Something is up with Johnson too. Biggs alluded to Johnson sitting but not by choice in the last game.
  2. This is obvious, but their defensive line seems to be driven back and they lack a pass rush. If they play like they do today, they will be one and done in the playoffs.
  3. The offense hasn’t done anything, but they haven’t had much of a chance with the lousy defense being played.
  4. The Bears defense has been pathetic for weeks.
  5. “You fired up, man?” (Rich Eisen Show throwing bouquets at the Bears Despite their loss.)
  6. A lot of over analyzing that final play. DJ Moore apparently is on the opposite side jumping and waving for the ball since he’s open. Someone else out there saying Caleb should have thrown to Swift immediately to do a foot race for the score. Johnson said they didn’t line up in the way he wanted which he said is on him.
  7. Burden looked to get tied up with number 7 in the end, but I couldn’t tell what happened. Hopefully it wasn’t a major injury but Odunze really needs to get back if it was. Williams looked good but some of those throws where he missed should have been had. Some of the defensive penalties were dumb tonight. My concern is they will have to play against the Packers in the wild card round of the playoffs and lose at home this time. Call it Chris Conte PTSD.
  8. Seems like it’s a 24 hour bug that hit over Christmas.
  9. Joe Burrow trade chatter, a few Titans coaching candidates and what sources are saying around the NFL This piece hypothesizes how the Bears could lose Declan Doyle, Eric Bieniemy, Press Taylor or J.T. Barrett for an offensive coordinator position or Al Harris to be a DC. Unless Dennis Allen is considered to be cooked as a HC, I would be more concerned about losing him. Matt Nagy also mentioned as a possibility for the Tennessee HC position since he has ties to someone there.
  10. What would be the negative economic impact for Illinois if the Bears left Chicago for Northwest Indiana? Who would be a good source to talk about this?
  11. Merry Christmas White Sox fans! Old Jerry opened the wallet for some actual talent and didn’t do more bargain bin shopping! Up that payroll, keep your existing stadium or build a new one with your own money in Chicago and act like a functioning MLB team!
  12. I know that the team is more than just the players, but I wish Poles and Warren didn’t have to be there. Especially with the s%*# Warren pulled this past week. I still hope they end up in Arlington Heights instead of Gary, but even Fox did a special story on Gary’s development and opportunity with adding the Bears. One other question on my mind. Is losing the Bears tax revenue significant to Illinois? Seems like they should play ball on the infrastructure and come up with a fair property tax deal.
  13. Get the ball back, let’s score and go home! ”Ok kid, let’s blow this thing and go home!” - Captain Solo
  14. Same, it worked for Seattle the other night.
  15. He made a play in the preseason that reminded me of what he just did.
  16. Or do they have Michael Vick with poorer decision making? I’m trying to figure this kid out.
  17. Is it the missing WRs why Williams was at like 129 yards passing on the start of the drive? Jeez, friggin Goff put up better numbers for this offense.
  18. Another thought, what will Ben Johnson be able to change with the personnel given the money tied up going into next year? Going back to your point, I think the close wins were positive, but I am also reminded of last year when the team was bad, but a few games could have changed and they would have improved that record. They really need to win out to prove they belong in the playoffs.
  19. Bleeding the clock and there’s nothing other than a turnover that will stop them. It’s going to be a two score game real soon.
  20. Are we sure the Bears don’t have the backup QB and the Packers have the number one QB playing right now?
  21. Good thing Santos knows how to make field goals in Soldier Field better than Kevin Warren knows how to get shovels in the ground.
  22. Come on Ben Nagy dial up a score here!
