Nice interview with Caleb and (future Bear) Maxx Crosby.

I still say Rome and something not a #1 for him.  I am just not sold on Rome.

I think it makes the salary cap much harder to navigate to add Maxx and still have DJ's salary on the books.

I can't see Moore coming back.

I think there is a world where he does, but it won't shock me at all to see him moved. Feel like it's probably 50/50 at this point.

Yes my idea doesn't really take the cap into account.  Moore may restructure but I think in the end he is the odd man out.

I think Edward's is almost guaranteed to ne gone from all the talk. His deal clears the most space with the least amount of dead cap hit.

I think you mean Edmunds. Cutting him frees up 15 million. Cutting Edwards gets you almost no extra cap space.

If we're going to trade for Crosby, trading DJ makes a ton of sense. I think the most I'd consider is the 2026 1st, 2027 2nd, and Moore. Crosby is not the player Parsons is.

Yes, autocorrect. Sorry.

Coming to you live from beautiful Hammond Indiana, we're here for the Chicago Bears vs the Green Bay Packers...

Building an "entertainment district" in Hammond is honestly hilarious.

The place they are talking about building on wolf lake will make a pretty good backdrop for a stadium.

As far as an entertainment district well.......

The partisans on my Facebook feed make it sound like a done deal and that Illinois is going to lose another business, regardless of what Illinois does.

Bears: One of the most magical seasons they've had in years, if not ever.

Kevin Warren: f*** Illinois.

I guess the only good thought I have about this whole thing is that the Sox were so close to moving to Tampa that they built the Tropicana dome for them, and they ended up staying

It’s not entirely on Illinois for where they are at. The Bears fucked this up with securing the Arlington Heights location without negotiating anything with the state or local government. Who ya crappin Kevin Warren?

We also can only see what is reported, there’s more that we don’t know about the negotiations. Maybe there will be a breakthrough to stay in Illinois. It doesn’t feel that way, but it is still possible.

Oh, I'm saying Kevin Warren is an absolute shitheel.

Them having to drop/modify the fight song is a small, but hilarious detail.

I definitely won't call it 100% after reading up with some people I know on this side of the state line, but I am going to say they feel around 80/20 right now.

They bought that property well before Warren was hired

I'm all for blaming the Bears - but in my mind, at least based upon what is out there, the Bears ownership is taking a pretty fair and balanced approach with IL...so this is more on the state and local areas in my mind.  Asking for tax certainty and infastructure seems like a fair play knowing what the Bears plan on putting into the stadium.

Blaming Warren instead of Pritzker in this is certainly a choice.

The Bears are a for profit business.  Why in the hell wouldn't they shop for the best deal?

Maybe Illinois can get a rebate on the money sent to federal government that is then sent Indiana's way?
