  1. Yes, but what choices would there be, Super Steve?
  2. Analyzing the trade I am split on my decision for Magglio. I thought about it a lot today. It would make sense for the Sox to trade him on a few variables. Firstly, I was keeping in mind that trading him would free up a lot of money as (14,000,000=800,000=13,200,000). Mulling such a trade of that magnitude could bring in a lot of new players, in addition to the expected rise from 50 million to 55-60 million dollar payroll. Obviously then Alomar would be useless at 2b and Cito Gaston would be hired. So if all this works in the equation, my verict is to trade Magglio for a top pitching prospect, Nick Johnson, and Alfonso Soriano. But my question is, do the New York Yankees really need any outfielders?

You got it, man. That is the situation. The numbers are there for Soriano, and at a MUCH cheaper price. I am probably in the minority here, but I'm all for that trade. No I believe there are more supporters of Maggs being traded.
  4. It is not about Tony G. I do want him back, and I think he is a great reserve. With these posts, they're too much. Seems everyday he has about four or five threads that say the same thing. We could have just discussed one thing in a thread, and there pops up the same question in a new thread started by guess who. Everyone should know how people feel about each postion by now, I would be more interested to hear new names, or new possibilities, instead of him posting stuff that has been said a million times. It is like beating a dead horse. Yeah but it is not spam....spam is advertising for something...
  5. So sir, how do you think Willie Harris is going to do this year? Where will he be a part of the organization? MLB? AAA? White Sox bench warmer? White Sox starting 2bman?
  6. The Beast replied to The Beast's topic in SLaM
Thank you for your detective work sir.
  7. I am! Get this team moving....OFFSEASON, ITS TOO LONG!
  8. Super Steve, did u read what I said? Pick two players from the list for catcher and one for the other positional players on the list.

Does anybody here want Graffy back for '04? I would like to see him be on the bench helping us. Also what about the possibility of Gload and Daubach switching places in the organizational changes... Graffanino and Gload would be my picks
  10. Who would you rather see at these positions Konerko/Spezio Alomar/Harris/Miles/Graffanino-Alomar Valentin/Matsui/Eckstein/Tejada/Graffanino-Matsui Alomar/Burke/Olivo/Rivera-Burke Lee/Rowand/Reed/Borchard-Borchard Rowand/Everett/Reed/Borchard-Rowand Ordonez is the right fielder for this team in '04 I'm interested to whom u pick...(pick one for each except for catcher, in which you pick two) REMEMBER. IT MUST BE ON THIS LIST, AS SUPER STEVE DIDN'T READ IT RIGHT AT ALL.
  11. The Beast replied to greg775's topic in Pale Hose Talk
That wasn't the point, you asked who was putting up better numbers than Ordonez while making less money, and the truth is quite a few are. Alright then. My mistake.
  12. The Beast replied to greg775's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Does it look like were getting any of those guys? No. And besides, I would never do that deal for Soriano. This whole talk of it is garbage. There is NO way in f***ING hell KW does this. KW will try to move A.) Koch B.) Konerko BEFORE he even THINKS about TRADING Magglio f***ING Ordonez
  13. He's gotta get the pitching going though, because if not were screwed with him.

Are you saying we in fact are rebuilding? No we aren't. We are simply retooling, rebuilding would be like the fire sale of 2002 or the White Flag trade.
  15. Do you really think Scho can get the job done at No. 5? Who would be our emergency LR then???
  16. The Beast replied to greg775's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Who is producing better numbers (fielding and hitting) that earns less than Magglio Ordonez. MERCY!
  17. The Beast replied to greg775's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Agreed. All these idiots who would even DREAM of trading Magglio Ordonez are absolutely absurd. Come on now, we can equal his salary if we trade Konerko and Penis away....
