QUOTE(Yoda @ Jan 17, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) Guns N’ Roses Use Your Illusion II. I remember buying that CD for the sole purpose that I heard You Could Be Mine in Terminator 2. I was so hooked to that film (and the song) that I went to Circuit City and used my allowance money to buy that CD. Anybody else seeing some of these answers and realizing how damn old you are???

I'm thrilled that they let Crazy Dave through!!! I think Randy and Paula are both secretly admitting that the show is turning into a complete joke. Not that it never was, but now it's time to let the ridiculous rule!!! I will start voting, and it will all be for Crazy Dave! I also find it kind of cool that a guy from Crystal Lake is going. It's where I grew up and still work. I love that damn town. Rock on Crystal Lake! Plus, the guy is a Rat Pack kind of guy, and I love that crap!

QUOTE(Yoda @ Jan 17, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) How can you forget Donnie Yen, Gordon Liu, and David Chiang? Don’t get me started with martial art artist’s. . . Names didn't come to me fast enough. But yes, I'll go with you.

He obviously learned nothing from Seinfeld: "You must follow the cookie, Nagin, follow the cookie!"

QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 17, 2006 -> 10:53 AM) I saw that also. Here it is. http://www.bofunk.com/video/776/sucked_into_jet_engine.html That's crazy stuff!

Hahaha. You need to make sure everybody is behaving themselves, so I know you don't have me on ignore.

That guy that attacked the ump with his kid, he has the same tattoo as Ozzy Osbourne! That dragon thingy coming down from his left shoulder. As for the Sox popularity vs. Cubs, you can tell the tides are changing. I would guess that if the Sox have a good year this year, and the Cubs tank it again, you will see a full on take-over by the end of the year, and the Cubs will be a complete joke to most people.
-
Hey, can you tell if you are on "ignore"???

I don't think I have ever used the " :headshake " guy. If I have...it's been once. I've also never been banned from a board.
-
Wow...that sucks. Somebody had to say it.

Aikido doesn't require the user to be in perfect physical condition. It helps, but I still would NEVER want to mess with Stevie boy. Van Damme is not quite a "pussy". He's won many, many competitions. Most of your Martial Arts stars got there by fighting in the ring. Jackie Chan is an exception, and he has always said his training was mostly in the acrobatics of the Peking Opera School he grew up in. Bruce, Jet (both Benny and Jet Li), Van Damme, Seagal, are all respected Martial Artists who were known in the Martial Arts world long before they shot one frame of film.
-
I guess for the "breakdown": First vinyl was that Monkees thing. First tape was that Chicago tape. First CD was The Dogs D'Amour - In The Dynamite Jet Saloon.
-
Oh heck, in Martial Arts films give me: Bruce Lee Jet Li Benny "The Jet" Urquidez Brandon Lee (watch Rapid Fire, he learned a TON from dad and Dan Innosanto) Jackie Chan Sonny Chiba Pretty much in that order also.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 03:09 PM) I think that ship has sailed, my friend. There are so many bands I've yet to hear that Frampton and Frampton-related music is very very low on the list. Nope, I'm sending you some Humble. Check your email soon.
-
QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 02:59 PM) Nope. Never had Frampton Comes Alive. I HATED Peter Frampton, in fact. At that point, it was all Kiss, Thin Lizzy, Boston, Rush and Earth, Wind & Fire ( ?? ) for me. Then came 1977, and with it the discovery of the Ramones, Sex Pistols, Clash, Dead Boys, Stranglers, et al. And everything changed for this young lad. You hated Frampton because you still have never heard Humble Pie. You will turn to liking him at one point in his life.

I've seen all of Eastwoods movie, except that Bridges thing. Heck, ya want proof of how much I like Eastwood? Just look no further than my avatar! LOL!!!
-
I just know that even as a kid I thought Eastwood threw punches like a girl. This idea was formed the first time I saw Every Which Way But Loose, and he throws a few punches in that one.
-
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 02:33 PM) Did Wayne and Bronson mostly use weaponry, or did they fight using just their hands?? Wayne used his fists. He punched rrrreeeeeeaaaaaaallllllll sllllooooowwwww in his movies, and looked a little less awkward than Eastwood does whenever he throws punches.

I got Rumours years later during my Stevie Nicks infatuation period. Actually, that was a looooong stretch of time for me, but I bought the album during that period. I never owned Hotel California though, due to my extreme hatred of them. I'm O.K. with some solo Walsh, such as The Confessor (the song, the album as a whole is boring), but The Eagles...eeesh...most overrated band in the history of music.

First was a Monkees Greatest Hits double album. It had to be about 1974 or 1975. Next up was a Chicago tape. I was from Chicago...so...well...I thought I had to have it. From there I got Chicago IX The Greatest Hits 1969-1974 and Foriegner Double Vision for Christmas one year. Then I was onto Ted Nugent Cat Scratch Fever and Aerosmith's Greatest Hits. Then I was off to the races and it all becomes a blur. But at sometime I got K-Tel's The Rock Album! How many of us here had this one? I have found it was possibly the most owned record ever printed, as it seems EVERYBODY in the 70's had it.

Fine, but the first "Tribble incident" in Quadrant 9 of the Hizek System will cause me to write a letter to my Space Nation representative and if I don't get any satisfaction from it, then I will NEVER travel in space again if I can't bring my Ion Blaster 59. Bastards.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 09:51 PM) Remember SkiFree? http://students.imsa.edu/~sawicki/other/SkiFree.exe How to scare the hell out of people in the modern age: Link to an .exe file!!! LOL!!!

I have a friend who went to visit his best friend in jail. THe guy was locked up for a year or so also. My buddy took two visits and decided to never go again. He couldn't handle it, and it pretty much straightened him out! Now though, this guy was/is known for stretching the truth a little bit, so who knows how much of it was "bad things" and how much was pure laziness that kept him from ever going again. I just know he said it was "scary as hell", and this was a guy in a fairly well known Death Metal band.
-
It would be funny if this is what gets him into jail time. Can anybody say "Capone"???
