QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 09:51 AM) I'm gald you're ok and all, but sorry man, I can't stop laughing at you. Yeah, like you're alone at laughing at me. Don't get all "cool" feeling, there's entire nations created of people who laugh at me.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 09:25 AM) My shoelace will get stuck in an escalator. I will be dragged to the top and die from internal injuries. I think this is the urban ledgend told to young kids to get them to keep their shoelaces tied. Urban legend my ass. I got caught in one of those things when I was a kid. It was right after a kid in Minnesota was sucked into one of them. I got caught and it pulled my shoe right to the part where it goes under the floor, then starting tightening my shoe like mad, finally somebody hit the "stop" button and we were able to cut my shoe loose. To this day I just off the ends of those things, and I rarely wear shoes with laces of any sort. My kids get scooped up by me and we jump over the ends. Those things used to be NASTY.

I'm too damned superstitious to go to that site.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 08:58 PM) Mifune Toshiro could take out anybody on the damn list. Ya know, hard to argue that one. But you also know that the majority of the world just refers to him as Toshiro Mifune and doesn't bother with the flip flop. I am talking about the anal film public that insists on calling Jackie Chan by his full friggin' name also, ie. uber-film geeks. Also, I always disliked Chuck Norris and found him to be a TERRIBLE Martial Arts film star. I know how great he was in the ring, but his style is terribly boring on screen. But now, with this annoying Chuck-love thing that is happening on the 'net, my dislike of the man and all things he has filmed is growing and growing, and I really didn't thank that was possible. I was quite thrilled that he and his pedestrian "action" films were finally fading away and that people had forgotten about him. But now...here we go again.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:24 PM) Anybody in Pittsburgh who pretends to be Ben Rothliesberger at a nightclub is gettin' laid tonight! Are you vacationing in Pittsburgh this weekend??? -
Does anybody have a link to the beginning of the show? I guess this shows how only 4 years in a relationship can make a HUGE difference. My wife has never seen "the agony of defeat"!!!

Mr. T is getting in on the action now also:

Congrats man!!! As a guy who has been turned down numerous times, I know how rejection feels, but no idea how acceptance feels! LOL!!! Congrats again!!!

I found it amazing that so many people took his online ramblings to heart as much as they did. Seriously, who did he REALLY hurt?

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 11:04 AM) ^ is the second guy from the left in the photo above. Is secretly in love with the second guy from the left. I actually looked more like the second guy from the right. But since all the women went for Brent (second from the left), thanks for the compliment.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 10:34 AM) Why do I have to miss all of the exciting stuff? Can someone fill me in? If somebody doesn't soon, I will in a bit.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 10:32 AM) IIRC a couple posters at WSI gathered some facts and after ncorgbl declined to come clean on his own, they outted him. I believe they even called his ex-wife and possibly his kids. That was IMHO over the line. I understand some sock puppet type stuff, but he took it well beyond normal and used it to attack too many people. Actually I'm a grandmother in Toronto living with my 27 cats and a dog. I think the one person even had connections with some legal folk or something (cops?) and was able to get some stuff, and that was what really shocked most people. NCor deserved to be outted, but not to the degree he was.
-
QUOTE(mreye @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 10:26 AM) This sounds familiar. Didn't someone do this to Ncorgbl? To a degree, but nothing was ever photographed. At the time though, it was mentioned that what the person did was WAY overboard.

Needing a helping hand... http://music.yahoo.com/vid-2141737-You're-So-Vain Hopefully this works. Faster Pussycat: On the scene at the same time as GnR and should have been bigger. Their debut album was/is worlds better than "Appetite For Destruction". Great band. Crap...the link doesn't work. Once you get there, search for Faster Pussycat and watch the video for "Vain".

QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 09:51 AM) You know, every time I try to agree with a statement like the above (which is right, btw), I just keep thinking... "He may be a douche, but he's schtupping Jennifer Garner in a huge house and working maybe 100-150 days of the year while I'm sitting in this office reading about it and stewing. Yep, laughing all the way to the bank, he is." Scott Stapp also sells millons of albums. The world is full of idiots, basically.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 09:47 AM) Missed SS2K's song reference. Need to explain that I caught the song reference to him (grew up in the 70's and LOVED Fatser Pussycats cover of it). I find it funny to see him responding to anything about vanity.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 09:42 AM) You're so vain, you probably think this thread is about you, don't you? Keep talking....

QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 09:26 AM) obviously the unfunny american version for an unfunny american. And i like carrel's character, but that's just me. Last night was funny. I liked him trying to sneak his foot into the CAT scan. LOL!
-
QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 09:27 AM) is an oldie oldster Is making me realize I will never escape the "oldie" thing since that is all that keeps being said. I'm also realizing this is possibly the most vain thread on Soxtalk right now.
