My money was on Melinda as soon as I saw her, and it is still on her. She rocks. It's going to look damn funny when it gets to the final 12, and week after week a guy will fall, until there are 6 women on the stage and that's it. Though they all may not have been great tonight, there wasn't one single female that was down at the guys level. They all rose above them.

I'm just still trying to get my head around Jackson telling the one girl that a song was too "Urban" for her. Was he saying what I think he was saying? What is the definition of "Urban" in the music world? I know what it would have meant back in 1982...but what about now?

Britney is based on a look. If she ruins her look, and she still has fans, then maybe they really do love HER.

The reason most don't like Britney is that she is the epitome of what has gone wrong with Pop music. She can't sing worth a damn and is nothing but a product of studio and airbrush technology. Any mediocre looking girl in the world could be Britney.

Eh...none of the guys are going anywhere. I like Chris Sligh, and think he will find a career, but not through winning the top spot. Phil, the last guy, did a heck a job tonight and has grown more than anybody else, aside from that AJ guy that went right before him. But Phil sang with more "heart". The Beatbox Blake proved why he was there. He was pretty good. Between his looks, voice, and beatbox thing he will also have nice success for a few years. But so far, nothing amazing out of the guys. I think the final show will have two of the ladies on the stage.

Have you seen the trailers? They look amazing, and like I said, the advanced work is very high on it.
