Nope, never heard of that one.

Thanks for the info!!! I love those steins!

There was no loss though, right?

Just starting with it today. Seems like a cool idea, if only people would play along. I entered 5 bills today, and none of them were hits, not even the one with the dang stamp on it. Where's George

My computer at work is about a 5 year old Micron. I've started the campaign for a new laptop so I can take my work home with me. Funny, I'm our main AutoCAD technician and I am begging to get a new computer, but the company doesn't want to budge. I have 20GB on it, and less than 1GB free. You would think they might want to let me upgrade. Nope. Cheap, cheap, cheap company I work for. But I digress, I am sure the next machine I get, if ever, will have Vista. Hell, in all reality it will actually have whatever is on machines in about 20 years.

IMO there is never a question of it, you harm a child, you die. No remorse, no second chance, nothing. Children should always be treated sacred.

QUOTE(bmags @ Jan 25, 2007 -> 10:43 PM) i like the cover, dude. too much clutter on magazines nowadays. Soon all the info will be on the cover like it is on newspapers like the WSJ. Thanks! I took the picture myself. It's of Benji Lee of Supagroup. Trust me, there are WAY more words in my 'zines than there are pictures! LOL!

Come on people. sh1thead!!!

(time for a little "whoring myself" on the board...this will be the only post) Second issue of my 'zine is done. If you have an interest, drop me a line. That is all.

Simple, Sox all the way. We're having people over for the Super Bowl, but it's just an excuse to have people over. I don't give a crap about the Bears, other than with any luck a Bears victory will help quiet people about the '85 Bears and I won't have to hear those idiots McMichael and Ditka so much.

I love Queen, but there is no doubt or arguing the "goofy" aspect. There is a reason they were so big in the two goofiest eras in the history of music.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 25, 2007 -> 07:02 AM) Queen is one of those bands where their better stuff is GREAT, and their worse stuff is awful. Ignore Bicycle Race, Fat Bottomed Girls and stuff like that and listen to stuff like: Hammer To Fall A Kind Of Magic Stone Cold Crazy Tie Your Mother Down I Want It All Headlong Killer Queen Somebody To Love THAT is a Queen playlist I (and I'd think you as well) can get into! "It's Late" off of News Of The World should also be on everybodies playlist. I personally like "Bicycle Race", but mainly for the music. The guitar riff is killer in that one, and May gets a great tone. Block out the stupid lyrics for that and "Fat Bottom Girls" and they're cool tunes. It's just that no matter how great Freddie was at singing, his eccentricities could hurt them at times in the lyrics. Three other great, great, great Queen tunes, and all three off of Night At The Opera: "'39", "Sweet Lady" and "The Prophets Song".

I was listening to The Rock And Roll Geek Show, but grew a little tired of it. I was also listening to Shadow Falls, but after waiting an eternity for episode 6 I walked away from it.

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 24, 2007 -> 06:38 PM) And am I the only one that thought the very first guy of the night was good enough to go to Hollywood? I think he sung Heard it Through the Grapevine. The judges said he was over the top. Nope, I agree with you. I have heard a couple that were not all that bad but they passed on.
-
That hairy guy who sang the Blues, Sundance Head, might just be the best voice I have heard on that dang show yet. Nobody else comes close to the sheer power and strength he has. That was the first time watching the show I actually sat up in my chair and my jaw hit the floor. Hopefully he is out towards the middle so he can get to work on his album.

Huh, what does it say about me that I have seen more of the Razzie nominations than I have seen the Academy nominations?

But...but...the Saints...they're America's Team... What will America do???

I saw Little Miss Sunshine last night. I thought it was supposed to be funny? I chuckeled a couple of times, but that was about it. Dang thing was a drama more than anything else. I had also heard, and was kind of lead to believe it was a pretty harmless movie. Boy...my 9 year old was a little shocked at times! LOL!!! She had sat down and started to watch it when my wife checked and told me it was rated "R". We let her stay, but watched very close and had her go into "earmuff" mode at times.

They're given backgrounds, no doubt. Simon and gang have an "application" in front of them probably, or at the very least a piece of paper with the name and a few bits. You know that Darwin chick and her mom must have had something after their names like "get these two together, it will be friggin' weird!".

I actually have this one: It's the only one by him I have, and surprisingly it's not all that bad.

Two things helping to re-inforce my belief that the entire A.I. staff is made up of ex-high school bullies: 1) The locking of the left door is getting ridiculous. 2) Now they seemingly have started to move the peoples belongings on them when they go into the audition. When Red went looking for his stuff it was more than obvious it had been moved on him on purpose. I do feel sorry for many of the people that are set-up. The "bush baby" guy tonight and his friend obviously were chosen for no other reason than their looks, and you just know the big guy was tormented through school. The software guy sent there by his co-workers may have been the worst one yet though. What if that guy was set-up by the people he works with? I don't know...one of these times we'll be reading about a suicide due to this show I have a feeling.

It's also not about who can sing the best, but who they can mold the best. The best bet to survive is to be decent looking, have a decent voice, and willing to do whatever somebody else tells you and not have anything that would really define you as "you". This was destroyed last year by Taylor, and you can bet that it won't happen again.

A.I. is full of dirt, no doubt about that one. BUT: That bit when Simon was acting disgusted by how Randy was treating the contestant was some of the funniest damn TV I have ever seen. Simon was actually hysterical with his reactions. Paula is obviously having problems. How many times did she even speak? I hope Jewel is never on again. Lord was she annoying. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black on most of the contestants. Tonight looks like it might be a great one. 17 people made it out of Minnesota. Amazing.

Might get laughed at, but I don't care. The single greatest live album for me is easily Britny Fox - Long Way To Live. I was never a fan of theirs, but I bought it anyways when I found it for $2.00. I put it on and was amazed at the energy level, the playing, and even more Tommy Paris's voice is incredibly strong. I'm still not a huge fan of their studio stuff, but this one album is amazing.
