Yes Santos is Pitcher #12... So the final roster spot is basically a 13th pitcher or Nix.

Sounds like the decision will be made tomorrow Don't keep Nix, and we lose him... but Aquino has been lights out, and Hudson is a big piece of our future.

sure he is better than the 2009 version of Casilla... But I am surprised they are giving up on him right now. His 2008 was nice. They still have Nick Punto/Brendan Harris playing third.

Just so some of you don't sled into a tree on this one. O-Dog is a good player... but he is definitely on the decline. Despite winning another GG last year... several scouts think his range is very average now. Ronnie Belliard took his starting job at the end of the season last year in LA.

Royals sign Rick Ankiel to a 1 year deal with an option for year two. Sounds like 1 year/3 million... with the second year coming in at 6 mil. Pretty Hefty 2nd year. The Royals OF is now DeJesus, Pods, and Ankiel... With Jose Guillen at DH... Fields options are shrinking.

Illinois D will always be weak against the 3 until DJ Richardson learns how to back off his man. Watch the dribble drive kick out for three on every attempt. Richardson plays up too tight on his man and is easily beat to the paint every singe time.

I predict the Chicago Cubs will have interest in BA as a 4th OF.

No way do I trade Morel for Gardner. I am okay with trying to acquire him... but Morel is a guy I want to hang on to. I really like his game.
