  1. Adam Everett, of the white dinosaurs believing Everett's. BTW, Carl did played for the Astros. Adam was traded for Carl.
  2. Whoever earns it in ST. With that said, i believe Rauch will imerge as the 5th starter.
  3. I'd do the deal, but i'd still trade PK for Perez. With Mags ($14M), PK ($8.5M), Koch ($6M), and Jose ($5M) coming off our payroll next season would make us huge players in free agency. Imagine having close to 30 million to spend on free agents.
  4. Frank won't be traded and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to put the crack pipe down. JR would NEVER allow KW to trade Thomas and get s*** like Perez back in return. Plus, Thomas still has his 10/5 rights and Frank isn't about to OK a trade to hitter friendly Dogger Park.
  5. I think the plan is to give Ross Gload a chance if PK is traded.
  6. You can blame Frank for his attitude, but not for his numbers.
  7. 1. Jeremy Reed 2. Kris Honel 3. Neal Cotts 4. Ryan Wing 5. Joe Borchard 6. Jon Rauch 7. Enemencio Pachecho 8. Arnie Munoz 9. Rob Valido, just because he's our only real SS prospect 10. Filex Diaz Notes: Brian Anderson's injuries keep him off my list. As for Ricardo Nanita, Chris Young & Ryan Sweeney i'll wait and see what they do in Kannapolis before i believe in them.
  8. I think we have a right handed Kelly Wunch on our hands, IMO he's not closer material and he'll lose his 'given' closer spot in ST.
  9. He's right handed and apparently the Yankees were offering a lot more money, but he wanted a chance to be a closer. BTW, he's a sidearm type pitcher.
  10. He did try to re-sign some of them, we were just out bid. Either way Colon and Flash would have been too expensive.
  11. I think Thomas works out at the same club as Aaron.
  12. I hope you meant to say "does rub off". You won't find anyone not named A-Rod that works harder than Frank in the off-season.
  13. Rauch, i have no faith in Person, Cotts or Grilli.
  14. I hope Ginter has a good spring, i've always felt he'll be a damn good reliever if given the chance and i think Rauch might be down to final option too, so he's almost a given to make the team.
  15. How many options do Rauch and Ginter have left?
  16. Once the Sox's get their own channel (next season) they should have more ST games on TV.
  17. You can take the Nets off the list, Tump is not involved.
  18. Dempster + Injuries = Done Minor league deal, nothing more.
  19. The point i was making is that Cotts could still shift the trade heavily in our favor. I'm not a big Cotts fan, but the potential is there.
  20. Don't forget he gave up Neal Cotts in the deal. They had Foulke for one season, we'll have Cotts for a while.
  21. Yeah, it's definitely too late now, but come the All-Star beark and the trade deadline teams will get more desperate. KW better get busy than if were out of the race by than.
  22. I think this team needs to start over, deal Mags, Konerko (it should be easier midseason), Koch (same as Konerko), and if E-Lo gets off to a good start try and sign him to a 3 year extension, if he declines; trade him. Next season, i'd look for as much young pitching i can find and spend every available penny to acquire it, along with the best SS (other than Nomar) the market has to offer.
  23. Even in Forbes you won't find a team with a operating profit above $20M and you'll probably find the Sox's come close to breaking even every season.
