  1. Luis Robert should not be traded, especially after signing Murakami
  2. Injuries aside, I love the idea of him playing on a Francona managed team and he has so much more upside than a Bader or some of the alternatives. I would prefer to keep him especially with some lineup support but I’ve come to grips with him not being in the lineup come March
  3. If the Sox are willing to eat half or more of his salary and want pitching then get David Stearns back on the phone
  4. I think they’ll be competitive but their pitching staff leaves so much to be desired. I would really like it if they kicked the tires on Imai. They need more, I’m just not a fan of their pitching staff
  5. Only way I’m trading Robert to the Mets is if they’re getting back one of McClean, Tong, Sproat, or Benge. Otherwise hold onto him and let him hit in the new look lineup
  6. Hold onto Robert and Sosa now, try like hell to get off of Benintendi’s money
  7. If he’s that good, you keep him and build. This was a fantastic move, whether he pans or not and if he’s good I think the Sox have an infrastructure in place to make it appealing long term for him to want to potentially stick around for awhile.
  8. From Rosenthal Execs saying “no team wants prospects” if that’s the case Getz needs to get Jerry to pay whatever he needs to, to try and get themselves two top 100 prospects back for Robert
  9. Just spitballing Quero/Robert to the Reds for Sal Stewart & a top 6 prospect? don’t know that the Reds would trade Stewart but if so getting him back would be a solid get kid can hit
  10. I would need at least one of Baty, Vientos, Benge, or Sproat in return I know Robert is hurt a lot but if they’re not getting anybody that doesn’t at least have a higher ceiling, it’s really not worth trading Robert then. I’d rather lose him for nothing than just trade him for the sake of trading him.
  11. These are the moves that Rick Hahn and Kenny failed to try, why not take a chance on a dude who has had 10 MLB ABs to see what he can do. He’s got pop he, he could stink or he could turn into a late bloomer like a Brent Rooker or Christian Walker. He’ll have plenty of opportunities to play
  12. Obviously Alonso, Tucker, Bichette would be great but Jerry still owns the team. Josh Naylor and Trent Grisham would be my choice because they’d be cheaper than the big $ guys but Jerry still owns the team. Add on there’s probably gonna be a lockout after next szn, I think it’s gonna be a lot similar offseason like last unfortunately.
