Does that outweigh his larger sample size of his Dodgers days, his time with the White Sox last season, along with the 33 games this season that you referenced? Not in my book. Also, I’m not sure how guys like Bart and Canario have anything to do with this discussion considering they would have been near free acquisitions and served as bench players, not a full-time starter like Vargas that trade value was used to acquire. But please show me my post where I called Bart and Canario potential hall-of-famers.

Vargas, Tauchman, Slater… Their stats are dropping as fast as Robert’s desire to play baseball for the White Sox.

Vargas is just showing that he’s just a guy. He’ll need to be replaced eventually anyways. This team needs to hit on above average players and stars, otherwise they will continue to be “mired in mediocrity.”
