If he doesn't pan out, he was just a bad pick in hindsight. He was a fourth rounder so he was obviously drafted fairly high, and he wasn't with the Sox long enough this year to have his hitting be besmirched by our minor league "development" staff.

It makes sense to give Sosa a run at 1B. It’s a bit too early to give up on him but Meidroth may make him positionless soon.

Canario in LF and Benintendi at DH. Giving at bats to Taylor in a starting role is just such an utter waste.

It’s amazing how many Red Sox fans still love the guy and are rooting for him. It’s the exact opposite of the usual fans that don’t want to see the prospects they give up in a big trade to excel too much and make the trade look bad for them.
