The trade deadline was supposed to spark the rebuild, and it did almost nothing. We added a 3B who is no more of a proven guy than anyone else in the organization.

The best trade asset that the Sox had that actually was moved at the deadline, and Getz grabs yet another bust to go along with the other ones in his lineup. His bat actually got worse after coming here. Surprise surprise.

Is it still considered upside when you think he will provide less offense than you thought he would when he was given $75 million?
