  1. Would you rather have Mr. Versatility manning the plate? Sheesh, KW could walk down the street wrong, and you'd flip out.
  2. Dempster would be nice. Also, love the avatar! Royce Ring, baby!
  3. Yay, Josh Paul can go f*** himself, now! http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/gen/wire?messageId=9837821
  4. the same has to be true with you as well. ref the s*** blocking your eyes. 1. making the trade for clayton, against alot of people advice b/c he is a cancer. 2. firing the hitting coach b/c of clayton displeasure with him. 3. trading and f***ing up the la trade, berry vs berry 4. the clayton business to many to list, but after the 9/11 in kc he was sitting on the bench when everyone was out in the field for a moment of silence. 5. trading well, fogg and lowe for ritchie. 6. not getting rid of clayton sooner and still having to swallow his salary 7. trading for some players that never made it to the bigs. 8. the well trade that was a fiasco from the start, 9. getting fleeced in the ray durham trade that ALL the sport community agreed that kw was taken to the bank. which we still had to pay a mojority of his salary. 10. not pulling the trade on the howry trade when alot of people said to do it. 11. setting up the spy network 12 his clubhouse fiasco. 13. his failure to fire nardi sooner and yet deal with his friends in a postive way in the minors. now this is not as important to me b/c they may have been asking for the bank, but the fa's and drafting is a wash to a certain extent. but his crediablity is shot in what 3 yrs as gm wow. 1) JM wanted a SS that wouldn't make errors. Clayton was a "clubhouse cancer" because some f***ing bum didn't like his rap music. Yeah, he's automatically a clubhouse cancer. 2) How f***ing stupid are you? Von Joshua was fired because he sat on his ass and did nothing. He didn't preach taking BP or anything. 3) No argument. 4) Only players and coaches go on the field minutes befroe a game. GM's shouldn't be out there, and he has his own right to sit the f*** down if he wants. 5) Wells stunk, everyone was sad to see Lowe go. Yes, he overpaid. 6) Nobody wanted him. Royce was one of "Jerry's kids", KW had to find an excuse to let him go. 7) Oh, so we shouldn't trade overhyped veterans to rejuvenate the farm system? Felix Diaz, Ryan Meaux, and Frankie Francisco could play a very large part in the bullpen's future. f***, I think we should just stop drafting people past the 10th round, because they don't have much of a chance! 8) It made sense to go after Boomer. Too bad he was a complete douche. 9) No argument, but why don't you mention that KW fleeced Sabean by getting Meaux and Diaz? Oh, I forgot, we're open minded people who never look at the good things he's done. Oh, ok. 10) Howry blew ass, and we have enough minor leaguers to fill in for him. 11, 12) No argument. 13) JM was still attached to his crew that he brought it.

    CF Who?

Just keep the seat warm for my boy, Anthony Webster!
  6. The Braves may do a Furcal/Milwood for Konerko/Hummel/Ortiz deal if Wilson Betiemt is ready for the bigs. Furcal would be a nice pickup

    Prison Rodeo!!!! ........................ Today!!!!
  9. That's why Danny f***ing Evans traded away his two best prospects for Paul f***ing Shuey. Evans sucks more than KW, face it. yeah , KW trading wells , fogg and lowe for ritchie was so much better...what was i thinking??... and shuey was 8-2 with a 3.30 era last year...ritchie was 6 -16 with a 6.06 era..cleveland got two prospects that may or may not develop...pittsburgh got two starting pitcher that already have developed..but again KW is the better gm:D Hate to break it to you, but PAUL SHUEY IS A f***ING RELIEF PITCHER. Kip Wells never showed any promsie at the bigs (see Nardi), adn Fogg started to fall on his face after hitters figured him out. lets see what your defination of promise is. all the sports writer were scratching their head when the trade was done with statements as a "promising young pitcher dealt to pit with others for ritchie," and i am paraphasing it. By that token Brien Taylor is still a "promising young pitcher". Sox fans were sick and tired of him; he couldn't find the strike zone, and didn't dare pitch inside. Oh, and to your last message...I have no f***ing clue what you're saying. Jjav:I don't have an argument? Please, I can go through every trade KW has EVER made and critique it to no tomorrow. Do me a favor, get every trade he made, and I'll write you an essay that you should read. As I said when this trade was "supposed" to happen, it was a lose-lose PR situation for KW. What happens? EXACTLY, what I said, you LDF, Cubkilla, Baggio, go f***ing apes*** on KW. If KW makes the trade, you'd still flame him. Give me a damn break.
  10. He won't answer you Jjav. The KW supporters love to defend KW because his critics are critical of KW's every move. They defend a GM who brought in Royce K-layton, a GM that traded 3 young arms for a potential 20 game loser in 2002, a GM that got relatively nothing in return for Ray Durham, a GM who throws temper tantrums in the clubhouse when the team loses games, a GM that has "hall monitors" reporting back certain players every move and comments they may have made, a GM who trades closer-for-closer when we need a starter, a GM who is so egomaniacal that he goes to the Chicago media in the Fall of 2002 and spouts wisdom tantamount to telling Sox fans..... "Don't be so critical of me..... after all, I acquired Damaso Marte.....", and so on and so forth. Yes, many of us were critical that KW wasn't able to make the Ortiz deal happen. I, for one, did not want to see PK go, and no, I wasn't privy to the discussions that KW and SF's GM had. But newspapers and sports networks WERE REPORTING that the White Sox and SF were working on a deal that would send Ortiz to the White Sox for 3 minor leaguers. Who gives a flying fig if Gammons was the source..... it was reported. And in a fashion that has been typical of KW's tenure as GM, he was out-muscled and wasn't able to get the deal done. In KW's approximate 3 seasons as White Sox GM, he has taken a Division Champion and turned it into a team that struggles to stay above .500. I'll get off KW's back when he proves to me that he is competent enough to GM a MLB Organization. Until then, I WILL BE CRITICAL OF EVERY f***ING MOVE HE MAKES!!!!! No, I have this thing called school that I have to go to. All you KW haters, would you rather have Dan f***ing Evans? There is no, "I want Brain Cashman" or "Billy Beane". You're stuck with Evans or KW. I'd take KW in a heartbeat. Evans would have already traded away Borchard and Honel for a f***ing SP. Be lucky with what you have. how would you know who or what he would trade or have traded. do you have your own ms cleo pyshic line? dave f***ing sambrowski was available, was he hired or even approach? there is no f***ing way you are going to say that kw is better than dave. First off it's, Dave Dombrowski. Second of all, JR would have not hired someone outside of the oragnization. His two choices were KW or Evans. Evans has only made one good trade, and depleted his farm system making a run last year, and falling flat on his face. As for Kip Wells, he had all the chances to suceed, but Nardi f***ed him up. At the time, everyone was pissed that we gave Pittsburgh Sean Lowe, not Kip Wells. Also, for the people who were pissed when I told you to shut the f*** up: tissue?
  11. Take Liefer: Throw off cliff Take Rowand: Throw off cliff Both are wastes at the plate. One can't connect with the ball half the time, the other can't walk if his life depended on it.

  14. That's why Danny f***ing Evans traded away his two best prospects for Paul f***ing Shuey. Evans sucks more than KW, face it.
  15. SHUT THE f*** UP! God damn, it's painful watching some of you blather on about something you don't understand. Get me a printed f***ing quote that says "KW turned down Ortiz for Liefer, Harris, and Malone/Stew". I'm willing to bet that Sabean said f*** no, and countered with Konerko for Snow and Ortiz. Now, if KW accepts it, all of you dolts would go insane, saying how he's the worst GM ever and such. Now, when KW sits on his hands, WHEN HE SHOULD, you do the same thing. Face it, we weren't ever going to get Byrd, or anyone of high profile for FA. The only other option is trading the farm. Do any of you want to take a chance on one year, instead of hoping the farm will come through? Do any of you even f***ing know that KW basically BUILT our farm system? Seriously, go hop on another bandwagon, all of you are annoying.
  16. Clemens won't sign here. Remember, it was the might Schu who said "Clemens was past his prime" when Clemens wanted to come here.
  17. It's a good, almost great thing that he didn't do the trade. SF accquired Moss, who will be better than Ortiz, and accquired a legit Top 10 prospect from the Braves. We would have had to give up Konerko for Ortiz, or give up a Top 10 prospect. It's a good thing KW didn't make the trade.
  18. When you look at the trade, you really have to rethink teh whole Konerko or Lee part. Look, C Lee really improved his OBP, and K/BB ratio last year, but onerko also had a monster first half, and a s*** second half. Koenrko had 3 seasons with 97+ RBI, C Lee not even close. But, do we give up on C Lee right now? This is a lose-lose situation for KW.
  19. It's not true, let me that over first. Second, if Iw as GM, I said I'd do Malowned, Sanders, and Lee for Ortiz Ainsworth.
  20. OMG look at this: Latest Rumor I've heard is...... Sox Get..... Russ Ortiz Kurt Ainsworth Giants Get..... Lee Corwin Malone Larry Sanders Ofcourse this is just a rumor. For the latest on this trade, go to http://www.soxnet.net ROFL, someone believed a rumor I didn't even make up, woohoo! Go Nostradamus go!
  21. If we trade Konerko for Ortiz and Snow and Ainsowrth/Williams it's a steal for us. I don't know abouit Holt, next year will tell volumes.
  22. I'm hearing prospects for Ortiz. I'd part with Malone and Sanders for ortiz.
  23. Gammons knows who's involved, I don't.
