  1. He's done. http://rsfc.rathkopf.net/mcgahee.jpg
  2. Jeremy Shockey out of the playoffs. BWHAHAHHA.
  3. What the f***? You see a Twins player and you don't take an aluminum bat to his skull? What kind of Sox fan are you?
  4. Nah, we was bound to go to Florida State. Kind of like when the Rangers drafted Barry Zito, or when the Yankees drafted Mark Prior, or or or....
  5. Buehrle was a 38th round draft and follow. The closest we have to Buehrle would be Haigwood or Heath Phillips.
  6. Boras is a complete douchebag. I believe JR offered A-Rod something like 13 million a year, and Boras just laughed and walked away. Winning a Championship? Winning the Salary Sweepstakes? Hell, even ESPN predicted he would come here. Oh, the possibilities.
  7. The Yankees will eventually have a 162 man Starting Rotation. Trust me.
  8. If JR would resign Colon: Yes. If JR wouldn't resign Colon: No.
  9. And you wanted Suppan who has, what a career 5+ ERA? What?
  10. I really believe we'll have Ritchie back this year. So, assuming he's back, we'd have: Buehrle Ritchie Garland Wright Rauch/Biddle/Stewart/Me/You
  11. Whiney, Whiney British Singers.... Damn us wankers, and my metal music Europeans make the best music.

    Dane Cook

The Robin WIlliams special was on HBO, during that. My God, it hurt I laughed so much.
  13. Why I just noticed this is beyond me. The Reds, as we all know, have a pretty spiffy outfield. Dunn, Griffey, Kearns. We all know that the Reds tried to shop us Griffey, no dice. But, with Russel Branyan, and Willy Mo Pena locked to make the roster, someone has to be available. I've heard that Dunn was shopped to the 'Spos, just imagine if he made it here. Cincy has a logjam in the outfield, and they need pitching prospects. The thought of a Kearns/Dunn, Borchard, Ordonez OF would make me estatic. Pipe dreams = PHUNNNN!!!
  14. OldRoman: Some scouts say he can contend for teh HR crown year in and year out. The worst a scout has said about him in .280 .290 with 30 HRs.
  15. Hummel was a career .300 hitter before Charlotte.
  16. High Heat Baseball. Graphics are alcking a bit, but it's the best game you can get baseball wise. Get to be your own GM, Manager, and Player. 3D0 just needs to add a financial structure, and I'd never stop playing. Here's the 2003 Sox team I built: SS: Wilson Betemit 3B: Crede DH: Frank LF: Adam Dunn RF: Magglio Ordonez 1B: Paul Konerko 2B: Some minor leaguer C: Dan Wilson CF: Minor Leaguer (Just call him Anthony Webster ) Pitching: Mark Buehrle Barry Zito Josh Beckett Jon Garland Dave Pierce (Fictional guy, f***ing amazing. His ERA is 1.5 through 80 IP) I'm in first...by alot. My bullpen is pretty weak, but I've got Koch. I traded: C Lee (hitting like .200 for A's, ha) Durham Valentin Parque Ritchie Alomar Clayton
  17. If C Lee continues what he did last year, you but Borchard in Center. Then you have the best OF in the Majors. How is Borchard nothing? Every scout has said he has unreal power, and he has been listed as a Top 10 prospect the last few years. He is the best OF prospect in the game, period.
  18. Where does this anti-Borchard talk come from? He has a long swing, so what, he can fix it. He'll be a .280 or .290 hitter with 30-35 HRs a year, book it.
  19. Right now, Joe and Mark Texiera are the best power prospects in the game. He'll be fine.
  20. Let's see. Miles is coming up to 27. Hummel is 24 or so. There's your answer why Hummel made the 40 man.
  21. Almonte is better than Valentine. At AA Almonte had an ERA 1/2 a run lower than Valentine. At Charlotte, which is very tiny, his ERA was 2.50. He's gone up through A-AAA one year at a time, and he will make the Sox pen this year. If the Sox carry 11 pitchers, we'll probably see a bullpen of: Koch, Osuna, Marte, Wunsch, Glover, with a fight between Almonte, Ginter, and Porzio. I'd like to see Almonte, he's ready, and Ginter and Porzio blow. Ring will probably reach the Sox later this year if he has a solid season.
  22. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. True, but if you think Linkin Park, or the majority of the bands that you listed are actually"good", you need to listen to something else. Oh, and also, Good Charlotte just look gay. I'm waiting for the "Benji, smoke my pole!" lyric from them. Pop-punk sucks I'm surprised that you don't listen to Coldplay. Good stuff there, doesn't come close to Sigur Ros, or Radiohead though. Also, started listening to FischerSpooner today: one word, different.
  23. With Borchard cast away to AAA most likely, C Lee will probably stay. If we are in the hunt near the trade deadline, and Joe is etaring up the Intl League, then I'd expect C Lee to be dealt. I would not trade the guy at all right now, just because of his new found plate discipline.
