  1. I'm sticking to my guns and saying that Rauch will contend for ROY.
  2. Evans?? Shuey for Cruceta and Rodriguez, anyone? He got hosed big time on that.
  3. ERA = ER X 9/IP So 2 X 9/6 =3 ERA
  4. JB's signing begs the question: Who will be worse next year, the Brewers or Royals? Tough call.
  5. Well, it seems as if our bullpen is bursting at the seams now. I wouldn't be surprised to see Porzio, Almonte, Ginter, or Sanders packaged. No, I don't think KW is done.
  6. Regardless of anyone's opinion...to which each is entitled his/her own...there is no need for personal insults such as those. So, she can say this: because she has stature? ON THE INTERNET? What goes around comes around, she deserved every bit of it.
  7. Kruzer has a right to his opinion. And frankly, I can't really say he's completely wrong on his assumption. Remember, this is the woman who thinks Colon is nothing special, yet wants Suppan as our 5th starter.
  8. And they say I'm a jackass to everyone. HSC, when you're having PMS, stay away from the boards. Thanks.
  9. Let's sum it up: If Suppan remains in the AL Central, he'd face the Sox about five times or so. Let's say he wins 4 of those games. If Suppan joins the Sox, he starts 33 games. Let's say, he loses 15 games. I'm willing to bet that he blows more than 4 games out of his 15 losses. By your methodd, we'd actually WORSEN than improve.
  10. One bad half season? 1995 6 ERA 1996 7 ERA 1997 5.7 ERA 1998 5.72 ERA 1999 4.53 ERA 2000 5 ERA 2001 4.4 ERA 2002 5 ERA Mind explaining every season except 1999 and 2001?
  11. When he's an All-Star for being a coach of my town's Tee-Ball league, sure.
  12. What the f*** is with your obsession with Suppan? Did you not see his 5+ ERA and his .280 BAA? f***, let's get JB while we're at it, we can have the most career 5+ ERAs west of Texas.
  13. It's he said this, then he said that. So, of course, the fans jump down KW's throat without any idea of what ACTUALLY went on. Not a big surprise.
  14. You're sure as hell wrong on Porzio, though. I can say that much.
  15. omfg that was too funny..............carlos the lawn jockey........ hey hawk dont have to worry about joe anymore he left us in that trade.....and poor hummel will never get a spot on the team with harris and jiminez hanging around.....well unless they use harris in cf and put jiminez as ss in place of jose.......poor guy will end up like miles... never belonging anywhere but in minor ball.......... Miles and Hummel are completely different. Hummel is a very polished hitter, who can spray line drives around the park, while Miles will and should be nothing more than a career minor leaguer.

These guys don't know their stuff, IMO. Scott Kazmir wasn't even listed on the LHP prospects page, and he is probably one of the best prospects in the game.

  20. Draft an offensive coordinator.
  21. I'll put a piece of masking tape on the back of my hat (over the MLB logo) with "Cerb" written on it. Shouldn't be too hard to spot me.

    Barrett

Why exactly do the Cubs need Barrett?
  23. Gimme an hour, I'll whip it up
