Joey Rehab: Shouldn't you be watching Bill O'Reilly right about now?
-
Bullpen is REALLY stacked, so I wouldn't expect Almonte, Sanders, or Munoz to make the team. If JM does stick with 11 pitchers, you'll probably see: Koch Marte Wunsch White Gordon Glover It's a shame that Almonte won't make it, because he is ready. Here is a goodbye to Porzio and Ginter.

The Sporting News Radio is reporting a rumor, that the Sox would deal Jon Rauch and Jose Valentin to Philadelphia for Jimmy Rollins. Discuss, and remember, 'TIS A RUMOR PEOPLE!
-
Would be an excellent pickup. A rotation of Buehrle, Colon, Rogers, Garland, Wright is very good. Also, he had a solid 4 ERA away from Arlington, which is nice.
-
Hmm, interesting proposition. We'd have to receieve money if we traded for him. The last two years of his contract are extremely backloaded (2 yrs 21 million).
-
Ooooo, tough one. Starting rotation is about set, so I'm not sure about Rauch (especially w/ Loaiza here). So, I'll say Borchard.
-
most of the pitching prospect are about 1 yr from being ready, except for maybe rauch. Most of our "good" pitching prospects are mulling around A ball, or just made AA. I'd say wait 2+ years before you see anything out of them.
-
most of the pitching prospect are about 1 yr from being ready, except for maybe rauch. Well Almonte is ready. I think Sanders is ready too. Munoz is ready, but since he threw so much the Sox would be best off working him slowly this year. i will respect your opinion, however i might not agree with it. i think all could use at least another yr in the minors. eso sanders and munoz. Almonte is ready. Munoz could pitch up here, as well as Sanders.

The prospects that are going to be ready soon are why I believe we are going to dominate the central for the next 10 years. Hopefully with Jim and co. leading the way. but Jim will prolly win 20 games, a cy young, and leave the organization, because JR wont pay him the money he's worth. Cleveland's farm system is better than ours, as of now. Too many high level prospects (in AA, AAA) to pass up, compared to our high level prospects who are in A ball.

As much as I love Leftwich, I think the Bears really need to draft the DT from Penn State. The Bears have had no pass-rush FOREVER, and their secondary pays for it severely. If you know you can get a Kingsbury, Bouler, or another decent QB (NOT CHRIS SIMMS!!!) then I say you pass on Leftwich.

Jamie Moyer can't even touch 80.
-
Schindler's List. Some other decent ones: Equilibrium, Snatch, The Big Lebowski, etc.
-
Let's see: Resign Buehrle, Colon Cut Josh Paul Trade Rowand Fire JM Yay!

150 AB, or 50 IP.
-
Correct, he had more than 150 AB last year.

At SoxFest, there was a booth, Triple Threat Sports I believe, that made custom jerseys for you. I think for an authentic one, with the 2003 All-Star patch, plus name and number was only 125 bucks. Very nice.

Signed Joe Crede jersey Had my Jon Garland jersey signed Crede, Borchard, signed each of my baseballs. Crede, Borchard, Alomar, Tony G, Garland, Koch signed my pennant Koch signed a baseball of mine. BUT MARK BEURHLE DIDN'T SIGN MY JERSEY! Thanks to the dumbasses in the Hyatt who persisted I go to the back of the line upstairs instead of walking to the ticket counter. Asses. Note: Joe Borchard's arms are f***ing HUGE. I was at his hitting seminar, and that was the first thing I noticed.
-
I'll be at the food court 1 PM. Look for me in my newly signed Crede jersey.
-
I ran into Waddle at SoxFest, so they're doing something.
-
Left the house around 3:15, and headed to pick up some money. Arrived at the Hyatt around 4:25 or so, place was already packed. Once the new award was presented, I ran downsatirs, and I ran into Joe Borchard. Said hey to him, and he said I had a nice jersey on (my #24 Borchard jersey), although he did yell back to say I was wearing the wrong number . So, I saw an advertiser who would create jerseys. So, I ordered up a Crede jersey for 125 bucks. Completely authentic, had the All-Star patch on it. I went through the Borchard Crede line three times . First, got one baseball signed (Mom had other), got 2nd baseball signed, and then Borchard signed my pennant, and Crede signed my new jersey. Borchard was easily the nicest guy I met there, when I got up for the third time he said "Oh, it's you again" with a smile. Crede was nice too, and mentioned that I got the jersey to him on time to sign. After that, I moved along and ate some, and then waited an hour in the Garland line. If it wasn't for the three hotties behind me, I would have died. I almost fell asleep on the floor. Josh Paul was VERY nice, and Garland was the same as well. At the same time, my Mom was in the Koch line, and Magglio was STILL signing stuff, at 8:00! He signed for 2 1/2 hours, great guy. Koch was really nice as well, very talkative. All and all, I accomplished everything I wanted, just have to get my Buehrle jersey signed tomorrow. That, and I resume my stalking of Joe Borchard and Jon Garland.

I do a little recap of prospect who were with the affiliate last year. For example, my report on Kanappolis overviews Jason Stumm's, Jeremy Reed's, and Kris Honel's seasons, as well as players just entering the class this year (Antyhony Webster, Andy Gonzalez, etc). I know that you will be making the terk to AA this year, and I wish you the best of luck. Within the week, both my reports should be up on the website, so expect a tidbit on you and some other prospects (probably will cover Edwin Yan, Josh Fields, Heath Phillips, Frank Francisco, etc.)
-
Ok guys and gals, let's try and meet up this weekend. I'm really looking foward to meeting a bunch of you, so if you could post what you're planning for the weekend, it'd help out other guys to know where you are. I'll probably check abck tomorrow-ish around 3:00 to see what everyone is doing. I have to leave around 3:30 for the Hyatt.

Jim, as the local White Sox Minor League stalker/follower, let me say it's a real honor for us to have you here. I have to say, I really didn't know much about you up until this year, but you're now on my radar. I think you and Heath Phillips are really similar to Mark Buehrle, which isn't a bad thing Right now, I have to write a preview on Winstom-Salem this year, I'll be sure to throw in some kind words about you. But, thanks alot, man. You really don't know how much this emans to me to have a solid prospect chatting it up with us bums
