  1. I'd eat up Lieber for 2 years, 1 year 500,000, 2nd year guaranteed 3 million. I don't trust Byrd, I'd go with Daal.
  2. Let's hope that with the 21 million dollars, Ray can buy a bigger glove.
  3. I'm pretty sure he wasn't offered arbitration.
  4. 03: Guaranteed 5 million 04: If Thomas exercises option 6 million 04: If Sox exercise option 8 million Thomas can buy out the deal and become a free agent 05: If Thomas exercises option 8 million 05: If Sox exercise option 11 million 06: if Thomas exercises the option 10 million 06: If Sox exercise option 12 million Sox can buy out the year for 3.5 million
  5. I'd love to buy into that cerb, but Idont belive in "the kids" anymore. We've been lied to about prospects for teh past 20 years. Most of them end up being average or below. It would be great if all of them panned out the way they are supposed to. I'm not sold on Garland and Wright just yet. Yes, what you posted is what needs to happen, but how often does it? How many "bright ideas" will kw get and trade half the farm again for washed up assholes that kw has a "good feeling " about? Unless you're spending money like the Yankees, you cant plan a WS. This coaching staff needs to go . I wont say anything about cooper yet, but Manuel and his boys can leave any time they want . Manuel in a close WS game??? s***. just imagine the creative thinking he'd be doing. making moves for the f*** of it. I doubt Buehrle will be here in 3 years anyway. Yeah, it's all negative, but that's how things work under Jerry Riensdorf. Not one single player on teh Sox or Bulls have started and finished their career with that team since JR needs to "rebuild" once everyone starts to make any kind of money. :puke I don't know. Honel and Rauch are as can't miss as you can get. Both will be front of the line starters. Diaz has had arm troubles, but there are alot of guys who could cover for him. But, Diaz has the best stuff in our farm, no questions asked. I think the Sox's success over the next few years will bank on Borchard.
  6. Borchard has FAR more potential than C Lee will ever have. I'd hold onto C Lee for ONE more year. He really improved his plate discipline last year.

When I drove past Soldier Field it looked like a massive f***ing inclined bowl inside Soldier Field.
  8. The second amendment has been misinterpreted for decades, more like centuries. It states that: A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. I'm sorry, but the Montana Freemen and the NRA are not f***ing militias. Also, read up on US v Miller where the US Supreme Court ruled AGAINST Miller's right to bear arms. That case should be more than enough evidence to institute gun control, but of course we need our guns, so we can...um. Shoot them at the range. Yeah, sure. It's just so asinine how anyone can defend the 2nd amendment.
  9. Honestly, in my opinion we really don't need a veteran starter as much as everyone thinks. Everyone forgets that Jon Rauch was the 2000 minor league player of the year. I'm sticking to my guns and saying that Jon will go into the year being the #5 starter and should win the ROY. Oh, Omar Daal would be a nice insurance policy
  10. neither will koch We have Koch locked up for three years if we offer him arbitration. He'll outlast Glover.
  11. Try and not hold your laughter. We've seen Keith implode after pitching one measly inning.
  12. Problem is, C Lee for who? If I'm KW I offer Moyer a good contract, and then if he turns it down, spend it on Daal. Then trade C Lee for a good RHP BP prospect.
  13. Give us three years: Starters: Buehrle Rauch Honel Garland Diaz That starting five is f***ing evil. Add in Malone, Wright (bwhahah), Stewart, haigwood, etc, we will have a great rotation soon. Then a bullpen of: Ring Marte Munoz/Sanders Koch Almonte RHP Bum #1 RHP Bum #2 and of course.... 1B-Konerko (I hope) 2B-Harris/Hummel SS-Jimenez/Reyes 3B-Crede RF-Maggs CF-Webster () LF-Borchard DH-Thomas Look good? Thought so.
  14. Glover? LOL, he won't be here in a few years.
  15. We got him for the Matt Guerrier for Damaso Marte and yan. If he can hit for more average, he might develop.
  16. See Constitution, freedom of speech. Also, if you were in Germany during the 1930's, I would bet my entire f***ing house that you would of went along kindly to Hitler. What would you do, keep suffering through a HUGE depression because of the Allies and the Treaty of Versailles, or would you go along with someone who could strengthen your country? Of course, this is assuming you don't know about the Holocaust.
  17. I nearly died when I saw: Work f***ing rules right now! All I've done for the past two weeks is masturbate to internet pornography! TEH FUNNEH!!! Oh, this is just way too easy. If you've EVER looked at the Constitution, some parts were taken out. Also, there are these things called Amendments to the Constitution. So, I guess all of the people who did the amendments were rebels, too? Broadening your horizions? You're as close minded as you can get, shut up before you make yourself look like any more of an ass.
  18. This guy will be Francisco Rodriguez, from the left side. With Wunsch signed through Arbitration, expect Arnie to spend the year in AAA. Porzio will be gone, now.
  19. Cotts is in High A. He'll be in Birmingham in 2003. Also, Cotts was drafted out of College, and he spent a year in R and Low A ball.
  20. Koch is eligible for three years. Which means his slary would go sky high. KW wants to sign him to a three year deal, which should happen.
  21. Dear Keith Foulke, Hi, keith. You're a member of the Oakland A's. Shut the f*** up, thank you. Sincerely, Mike Doyle Dear James Baldwin, Hi, JB. You're a f***ing horrible pitcher, and your slow walk off the mound is f***ing stupid. Eat a dick. Sincerely, Mike Doyle
  22. Foulke makes 6 million, yes. Johson makes, oh 600,000. Koch makes 2.35 BUT is arbitration eligible. Expect his salary to jump to 5 ish. Plus, we sent 2 million to the A's. So, it's basically push. With Frank coming back, at about 5-6 million, and Lee most likely being dealt, expect about 5 million to open up for a FA.
  23. Mets will probably still blow. Also, K-Dub better unload C Lee fast if the Phils want Moyer.
  24. How do you know that he's a Rule 5 Draft pick? So were going to pick him as a rule 5 pick, and then since we made the deal we won't be forced to keep him on the major league roster. Correct Cerb? He has to be on the 40 man, or he get's thrown back to the A's.
  25. I should be going. Also, HSC, don't go to Birmingham this year...most of the Winston-Salem guys will be moving on up, and well, they really suck.
