QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 01:49 PM) How about Don't Repeatedly Embarass your Employer on National Television? that is kool, you made a statement. i will respect it. but some have lousy luck, he did everything the right way, diver, going home, having fun and yet something happen and he was not at fault. he may have been the intended victim and he escaped with good luck. not falling for those ragging hormones that would have most assuredly into a huge vat of trouble.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 03:32 AM) For all we know he went to bed while everyone else partied. I guess he should literally stay locked up in his house every night. you know, thinking about it, there was NO DNA evidence what so ever of Kane on her, her cloths or anything. so who did she hooked up with???? where was kane and i wouldn't put it past RR point. sleeping......

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 03:32 AM) For all we know he went to bed while everyone else partied. I guess he should literally stay locked up in his house every night. well RR, that is funny. what blows me away, we are usually on the opposite side of a discussion when it is happening. now we are on the same side. wow. i like it. now back to hockey. what also is blowing me away is the goal scoring on the hawks. i just, for S and G's decided to look at the goals from the hawks. AA and Tevo each has 5 and 4 goals. my rhetorical question is when did they score those goals. those may have been the quietest goal scored.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 02:50 AM) Well, he certainly shouldn't be putting himself in situations where things like this can happen. Just because he's "young and full of hormones" doesn't mean he can't be responsible. For $84 million, it's not too much to ask of him. cmon, this was a nite and fun, innocent and parting. they were being responsible by having a driver to make sure not only kane but any of the others will not be driving. this was, and i hate to say this without proof, but according to the action by the lady a setup on her side. how can you avoid that??? if the answer is to not to put one self in that situation, then, do expect him to be a monk???

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 01:00 AM) What it all goes back to is that Patrick Kane is an idiot who hasn't learned his lessons, despite multiple embarrassing stories... at best. I still wouldn't be surprised to see Kane dealt next off season. you may be right and i really don't want to disagree with you. i just like to add my slant on this. 1. he was going out with friends.... 2. they may have thought of a possible drinking of someone 3. they had a designated driver 4. he is how old and with raging hormones 5. in spite of that, no proof of any physical contact with this person 6.. out of the clear, he is accuse of rape and who know what he was thinking, esp since he is innocent. 7. he needs new friends and needs to rethink of his position in life.
-
QUOTE (LDF @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 11:47 PM) the better question is do the press, endorsement companies, blackhawk org and/or fans know he wasn't??? in long run, even if there was proof of him drinking, didn't he have a designated driver who was an off duty cop??? that shows to me he was being really responsible for not being behind a wheel while being out with friends.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 10:58 PM) Do we know that he was drunk when he went home with The accuser? the better question is do the press, endorsement companies, blackhawk org and/or fans know he wasn't???

QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 08:03 PM) What do you want the NHL to do? Say hey nice job not raping that woman here's a 5 game suspension? As far as we know (and any evidence we've been given has shown) Kane did absolutely nothing wrong that night and nothing worse than any other guy in the league is doing. Kane has been fine since the Wisconsin incident. What do you want him to do, never leave the house and live like a hermit? and on top of that, there is no evidence that he had any encounter with her what so ever..... good post

QUOTE (shysocks @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 07:41 PM) This comment though... ok, i think i got it, i hope i got it but i maybe got it wrong on getting it. ok so let me explain ok or ok now how i may not have gotten it. did i think this was a good comment, a comment that many may not like but a comment that is mine and no one else, but don't shoot me b/c of my comment however if you want and can comment on my comment... ok.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 01:52 PM) Casino Royale was great. The chemistry with Eva Green might be the peak of any fenme fatale in the Bond series. At that point, he was a big unknown. The one with Olga Kurylenko was pretty bad...Quantum of Solace. Even if your first wife was Russian. i am an old fvvck so the old bond movies.... but On Her Majesty Secret Service. even though i did not like the bond in that movie, but Diana Rigg was hot..... she was the perfect wife Tracy in that movie. dang, i even still remember her name in that movie. i don't know, Eva Green ... she doesn't do it for me. Caterina Murino from the same movie..... wow!!!!!

QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 06:59 PM) Fair or unfair, the same accusation has followed Big Ben, Kobe Bryant. It will be interesting to see what the NHL or Blackhawks do. They probably don't need to do anything and they probably shouldn't have him miss games, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Blackhawks would want Kane to seek some kind of treatment. but it is great that the Hawks have kept faith on him.

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 03:48 PM) He should sue her for the EA Sports lost wages if there really was no case at all to be made. damn right and send a link to EA Sports to let them on that.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 05:22 AM) There's no such thing as a bad OT loss in November but this was the closest thing to it. Just wish it wasn't against Backes and the Blues i totally agree. this team or any others will not go undefeated. now i wish it would but oh well.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 02:21 AM) Neither of the first two Craig Bonds did that number. Though the last one did nearly double it. here is the link and the reason why that number of 650 mill is needed and the reason. http://variety.com/2015/film/box-office/sp...ice-1201633311/ i still don't quite understand the why in this story. i see a value of 340 mil as the suppose break even number. but oh well.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 02:52 AM) That's officially nuts. First of all, Emily Blunt is a bit miscast in that role...she's too naive, weak, timid and it doesn't come close to matching her recent action characters. She is basically dominated by all three male characters that she interacts with in the movie. Second, while del Toro was GREAT in his role (which was mostly being menacing and mysterious), some of the plot machinations in the final 1/3rd of the movie weren't exactly the most logical. They moved the story from point A to point B, but not in a coherent way. Some like it better than No Country for Old Men (another Brolin role), but movies like John Wick, The Equalizer and especially Man on Fire with similar themes are much more entertaining. CRASH was much better as well. The first scene in the house and then the tense border standoff in the traffic jam...those were the best scenes by far. You don't need to have dramatic, Fast & the Furious style car chases, explosions and CGI to create an atmosphere of tension and foreboding. Maybe the best example of this is Steven Spielberg's very first move in the early 1970's, DUEL, with Dennis Weaver. You don't even SEE the driver of the truck that Weaver is having it out with the entire movie. I would say 95 out of 100 filmgoers would see a movie like Gravity or The Martian and prefer those latter two. From a filmmaker's perspective, I can APPRECIATE it, but at the same time not thoroughly enjoy it... re duel.... that was a great movie but b/c of that idea of the driver. never ever seeing the driver... very unique. now the other movie, for me, it was great b/c it was again very different and that choppiness more or lets see about doing this or that while telling a story. just like Thirteen. but i can say different people have different pov on things. but as i said your opinions are what i like about the film.

QUOTE (GreenSox @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 02:39 PM) anyway here's my suggestion, which is sure to be met with applause! (Or not). Trade Eaton and Melky to the Padres for Norris, Solarte, Ross and a prospect. Trade Q to Redsox for Bradley JR, Chtistian Vasquez and prospects. 2 holes plugged (albeit no better than plugged) and a killer OF defense with 2 guys who can cover ground and Avi's arm. Need to add a power bat, although I don't know what to do about Laroche. Could eve re-sign Alexei at half price now that the other 2 clowns are gone. Saladino the utility guy. i need to say, i usually try to stay out of this type of post, well b/c i really do not like the fantasy type of dreams. but there is a fine line of some unrealistic ideas and not. many will probably say my ideas may be more unrealistic as all combine. but i was thinking of trying to swing a trade with Pitt but the uncertainty of Pedro Alvarez being left off the team or not is or will pose as a problem. but trade for Pedro Alvarez, Clay Holmes the sox trade laroche, Beck, Thad Lowry and the sox give 2-3 mil toward laroche contract. with stl.. it will all depend on Jason Heyward and if stl resigns him. trade from the sox Melky Cabrera, Rodon, Montas the cards trade Jack Flaherty, Harrison Bader, c-Mike Ohlman, Paul DeJong, Luke Weaver or Sandy Alcantara lastly approach yanks to see if they would trade c-Gary Sanchez, Slade Heathcott, or Dustin Fowler sox will trade Danish, EJ and Sanburn edit.... oops i forgot i would like for the sox to get Price and Marco Estrada

QUOTE (shysocks @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 09:26 PM) Zero chance it doesn't make that. do you really think so??? i really like to see the numbers to see how they come up with 650 mill but i bet it will be a way more profit numbers. last of Daniel Craig as James bond, the continuation of the story line, the only thing i can't wait to see if the story was way better than skyfall. re skyfall, cmon, Dench and M having a maternal instinct??? Javier Bardem having a mother or motherless issues??? Ralph Fiennes, i don't know, that lack of that something that one would imagine someone in his position to have... like imagine the director of the CIA having a Father O Flattery dean of boytown personality. but all this did work. weird but it did.

QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 07:39 PM) Then how does he not see what is happening in the rest of the division? It's not that the Blackhawks suck, it's just that the division looks scary. And I know they haven't played each other. without ref to anyone here. well b/c i usually have my opinions that usually differ than anyone. but whether it is the central division or any, i think it is too early to have a division to look out for. but every team really gets motivated and pump up when they will play the best team or the team that has won the SC let alone the SC for 3 out of 5 yrs...... so it is hard to look at anything outside this.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 07:38 PM) How the $&@? Can you not have the beginnings of a plan in your mind on September 1st? If they were really parting ways with Ramirez, either Saladino or Sanchez should have been given a one month audition...because we all know how reliable spring training is. Forgetting about the expanded rosters and the bloated impact on offensive numbers, we would at least have more certainty about how well they would fare at that level defensively. wow.... i really never thought of this, this way.

STAY IN THE PROTECTED AREA!!!!!

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 07:25 PM) Not shocking news, and I won't be upset if they go in another direction. I guarantee it won't be Sanchez. If they do stay in-home, Saladino is the one they view as a potential SS. i think you make a point. either Saladino or Alexei with the same hitting avg, the only thing it will be 8mil cheaper to go with Saladino.

QUOTE (BrianAnderson @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 07:22 PM) Interesting. I don't know what the Sox are thinking ... does this signal a rebuild?? Does this signal trying to get him back on a lesser deal? What is Alexei's market? If you look over the past few years there haven't been a ton of FA SS to analyze. I'd be willing to think that someone will offer him 2 years ... maybe 2yr, 14-16mm or 1 year and option/buyout? I personally think this isn't the smartest move. I'd rather see him somewhere in the infield. Alexei started as a 2B, maybe shift him there. Does have more value there with decreased range, but still with the ability to have a strong arm and turn double plays? Does Sanchez fit better at SS, just flip flopping them? How about at 3B? Not many FA out there. Still has the arm, less range, might be a good spot there? Or maybe just at SS. I just don't see many BETTER options out there. I see others that are good, but why create another hole? I think you'll see him signed by another team 2 years, 16mm, but I do think the Sox offer him 1yr, 7mm, option for second year, and another $1mm buyout. there it is.... someone mention what is or should be the next topic. why??? what is the sox future plans look like. nice post.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 06:10 PM) Yep, the dnc does not appear to have a coherent strategy. DWS has been horrible. dang, are they really that freaking stupid that they can't think??? they the party have a golden opportunity to control this election with trump or any of the least fav's winning the Rep nomination.

QUOTE (reiks12 @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 07:18 PM) Anderson at SS and Micah at 2B.. and this outfield.. have fun pitching staff wow, that is scary.... talk about a rebellion among the pitchers as the all star break.
