those catcher that were mention are nice i would love to have any of them. any info on hitting potential???
-
how many times this was mention in every yr. the only way this guy survive is by having people talk about him, the good and the bad. stop listening, stop writing and turn the station when you hear him. his ratings will continue to take a beating. lets see what happens then. i wonder who is going to start the next thread???? i wonder who is going to mention this idiot again????

from today's trib The Sox passed 1 million in attendance Saturday, their earliest since 1994. …

as much as i hate and i mean really hate saying this, honel may be thru. i would like to know who is really considered as our pitching prospect now. rauch, and diaz and cotts aside, who are the future sox pitching prospects?
-
seattle is in need to deal eddie guardado, b/c if he is not traded and plays for them the last 2 yrs, then seattle will owe him a contract worth 17 mil, instead of a contract that he sign for 13 mil. however i noticed that the gm played hardball and won. i wonder what it will cost us to get him???

sounds like a great time.

at the same time they do not want to add a huge sa;ary to their payroll. they don't want to run into the same financial problem that they had in the past.
-
i was thinking about that in the beginning of the week, but i would tearing my hair out trying to figure what fla would be willing to accept and i realize that the price would be too steep, but would it be worth anderson and sweeny?
-
you know what gets me, the sox been drafting in the middle of the round, in the first round mid teens, for something like 10+ yrs and we have done good to very good. yeah we had lousy luck with some of our 1 rounders but hey those other rounders have come thru.
-
thanks for the correction, i stand corrected. you are 100% right and i was flamed for mentioning that on the other board, as i was flamed last yr for saying that the sox should trade c.lee and mags on this board. however, do you think that roger would want to come here now???
-
fla, arz are a couple of teams that made trading for vet to help today and then got themselves in trouble financially. however, you get 1 or 2 players in the tail end of their career and contract, who can help now for at least a couple of yrs. the positive results would be staggering. the attn whould sky rocket, the revenue would be coming in and the younger talent in the minors will develop to take over. however you add some smart trading and you can replenish with younger talent. you can build something special.

the yanks has one good to real good prospect in the minors in a catcher, which arz is in need off. however, you never heard rj speak of moving to the mid-west. this news of rj willingness to waive his no-trade clause came out 2 weeks ago in the rumor sections. that was when geogie got in trouble. here is another thought that came to my mind, several yrs ago, either rj or roger mention that they have never forgave jerry r for his role in the last strike. do you think those feelings has change? we can offer prospects to both hou and arz and still have the talent pool in the lower minors. imo.

i know of a pitcher who pitched in the high 90's, usually goes deep in the game and can dominate any game. the team who has him is really feed up with him.... colon
-
i normally don't agree with brando, but i this one, i am with him. getting rf would do wonders for the sox, on the field and what it could off the field. however, what will be the cost??? unlike what we gave up to get freddy, which i did not like, i would be hard press not to dig deep in order to get him. on a side note, rj said he would not mind the nyy, i never heard anything about us.
-
now in ref to sammy trade, here is a guy who hit 10-15 hrs twice, and after the trade to the scrubs hit 8 hrs. but low and behold, he starting to hit 25+...................... come on now, don't tell me he did not have help.
-
being considered and being are 2 different things. there is no "almost", it is either he is or he is not. however on paper i considered that a loss, however i can't fault kw for trying on that move. i was dealing with returns on the trade.
-
how serious of a prospect is he???? has he made the majors yet. however i did mention getting him back was a good move on kw side as i posted before.
-
as a poster and an admin, i don't think too much of you if you have to revert to belittling to prove a point. kind of reminding me of davers from the wsi board. this wasn't the first time i seen you do this. real classy
-
it is pretty sad when this site admins revert to belittling the posters. if you disagree with them is one thing, belittling them is another. real classy guys
-
it not a threat, it just a simple fact, see you at the soxfest.
-
what gets me is that you are an admin and you do this to a poster who has been loyal to this board?>??? hey is this the way admin act??? didn't we leave wsi for something like this??/ that is really a classless thing for you to do!!!!
-
so what, my grammar isn't the best, are we in school. it is a pity that you have to resort to this to make yourself look good. go ahead and make fun or critize me. i have done my best to improve myself in english, and i came from a real bad background. worst than you can imagine, however please let me know when i am in town again and we can discuss this man to man.
-
with ref to the poster who mention jr as being a cheap owner, besides that, look at what beane has done with the amount of money is alotted to him, and he fleeced kw in a trade.
-
stick to the facts, chris played 120 games in the last 2 yrs, what has harris done?
-
when the sox acquired clayton, how much damage did he do in the clubhouse? how bout the damage done with getting ritchie and his losing. you have to add the intangbles that comes with the trade. such as the negative effects the d'angelgo(sp) had with the sox. you mention his attitude but in the same breath you will acknowledge what clayton did.
