    Another Bears Trade

Bears get: No. 143 overall pick. Jaguars get: Chicago's sixth-round picks (Nos. 176 and 193) and a seventh-round pick (No. 218) The fallout: The Bears gave up three late-round picks to move up to grab Missouri WR Justin Gage. yup that explain the whole draft. giving up the late rounds.

    Angelo sucks

it all started with the trade. wtf make a trade for more picks if you are going to get marginal players. i hate to sound like bmr, but this season for the bears is going to suck, the players we pick are not going to be any good.
  3. wally blackman may be a good choice.
  4. thing is what kind of injury is it and was he traded to us with the injury as someone last week hinted at or suggested.
  5. omfg lmao.. dont worry heather ... he couldnt handle both of us in his dreams much less in real life...... ..........hes the eternal ATNA.... all talk no action.. type of guy........ i think i missed a pretty interesting discussion to watch. oh well.
  6. one of the best mystique about that so called violence is that it might bring in fans. crazy as that might be, but we can capitalize on this. remember the 70's at the hockey pound. the rumors that swirled around there and about the blackhawks games was soooo out there. yet that brought in a lot of people who was caught in the hype. now this image is not what the sox may want and believe me it is b.s. but we still can ride the advertisement. then later we can put those b.s press to rest.

    Briggs

i been refraining from being too negative, but this draft really sucks for the bears, with all the trade we been doing, we don;t have much to show for it.

gil brandt on ranked in their category 5. Rex Grossman, Florida (6-1, 217, 5.15) Did not work out at the Combine, but worked out at the Florida Pro Day. Had a 27-inch vertical jump, 8-foot-5 long jump and ran the 40 on grass in 5.09 and 5.21. Played quarterback in high school and passed for 7,518 yards and 97 touchdowns. Redshirted in 1999, started seven games in 2000 and then was the full-time starter the last two years. Entered the draft with one year left at school. Has the arm strength to make all the throws and was accurate. Had to learn a new system this past year and did well. Not much of a runner, but will get some yards when he has to. Has a knack of finding passing lanes. A tough guy who will stand in the pocket. Has a lot of confidence in his ability as a player and will accept a challenge 4. Michael Haynes, Penn State (6-3 5/8, 281) Had a complete workout at Combine — 30½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot-1 broad jump, 23 bench presses. He ran only one time at the Combine (4.88) and only once at his Pro Day (4.7). Played his first three years at Balboa High in Panama. Was the goalie on the soccer team and played volleyball. In his senior year, he played fullback in New Jersey and gained over 9 yards per carry. Redshirted as a fullback at Penn State in 1998 and moved to defensive end in the spring of 1999. Started two games in 2000 and was a full-time starter the next two years. Good athlete with good strength and good pass-rushing ability. Is learning to play the position and has trouble sometimes against the run. Media voted him Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. so what happen to this second rounder we were suppose to get?
  9. ah bmr you to goat people b/c of the fact that you will never meet anyone b/c of where you live. you love the idea of a fight, plain and simple.
  10. maybe the lack of success is b/c they are either a rookie or a yr in the league.
  11. i just read that chi been advertising to trade thier pick for a while. new england wanted to play hardball and failed. nice try.
  12. this past superbowl, you had 2 stud player, 1 from each team and they both played defense and yes they were instrutmental in the team getting there.
  13. the point is the bears did not get what the pick was worth.
  14. solid players are based on the other players in the draft. impact players are thos that are special. there is a diference in the defination.
  15. be prepare for retailations.
  16. and this is from our innocent flower. what a mouth you have.

    YOFU?

Drugs? don't let the 420's know you are into their stash.
  18. I didnt lose my temper either. And Im just gonna ignore it. People who go behind others backs are weak. Real men say their feelings to the persons face. Cowards go behind the scenes... beat the s*** out of them outside school like several blocks away. if they are too weak then get one of your weak buddies to do it.
  19. i really don't understand where these so called experts are saying that it is a deep draft. the qb first 2 or 3, dt 2 de 1 or 2, lb 1 or 2 db 2 so where is the depth that have you guys raving about. outside the first 5 or 6 pick, its avg at best. the top 4-5 is the impact players in this draft. and jas are you saying that we won the trade, i think not.
  20. :finger for your old tired ass rhetoric.
  21. good, then our economy will improve somemore. in addition we can take control over china as well as china. Good grasp of international politics. hey mm23 from our previous fights from 9/11 when you thought we deserved the wtc bombing. i meant it then as i do now. :fyou
  22. those remarks were for apu. but according to wash post today in asia, japan, china, south korea are all standing behind the US on the issue of n. korea. "Its diplomats congratulated themselves on China's new activism. "But this is a shock," said Shi Yinhong, an expert at international relations in Beijing. "China will never allow a nuclear weapon in North Korea."
  23. how long was krause was with the bulls before he was fired?
  24. good thinking. as i said before and may now be back supporting jm, the prob is with kw micromanaging of the team.
