so if 90 % of the people says that something is wrong, who has reasonalble knowledge of the subject, and only several says different. what do you think you should listen to. have you really looked at his so-called impact on players being drafted. name me 5 who has done extremely well.
  4. it was a slick move to help in the draft, but c'mon who really thinks that the phone thing can sway anyone on the professional team. i highly doubt it.

  8. Sounds good, but a baseball team cannot market themselves as having violent games! Hockey is one thing -- fighting and aggression is an integral part of the game, and it's to be expected to a degree. That type of stuff happens in baseball every now and then, but to make it the norm would be a shame. Baseball is a great game in itself -- it doesn't need to add ultimate fighting to its repertoire to make it marketable. you have a good counter, but what i am talking about is the fans in the stands. i remember the 70's when there was a lot of fights in the stands and that was part of the south side hitman legion.
  9. apu glad to see the lighter side of what i remember when you first started to post.

this isnt a bad move but what they should have done was find a team to take a 4th and 5th or soemthing like tat for a 2nd round pick next imo..we cant sign all these guys anyways..we got 14 picks...not enough cap room they prob could have included those picks for an earlier pick or to acquire picks that they need. pretty much as you said. this was a lousy draft. i wonder if jas is still going to say different.

here is the first grades given to the chi bears draft Chicago Bears (from Buffalo through New England): Michael Haynes, DE, Penn State Comment: They need help off the edge, but they would have been better off taking Jerome McDougle of Miami. This pick surprised some personnel people and coaches we talked to Saturday. Grade: C does anyone think things are going to get better?
