Don't you mean the Stonef***ers? what?
-
i do too, but the 3.7 mil is what i am wondering about. but oh well, i will keep tabs on him this season.
-
in the trib this was said about the parks across america. here is ours. 16. U.S. Cellular Park: Lower deck and bleachers provide a fine atmosphere, but upper deck is still a problem. Best food in the majors, and very kid friendly, in spite of its recent problems with Springer Nation rejects running onto the field.
-
damn, the kid had a hell of a week.

Yeah, he's playing well. But, we chose Daubach and Rios for our back-up roles. I think we need to give them a few more AB's before we start second guessing. it was second guessing per se but a group of us wanted him and wondered at the time if he was worth the money. however we started to hear about his attitude and i am still wondering if that was not the sox doing in justifing that picking him up. How much did the Giants pay him? 3.7 mil

can anyone check for me this. i was reading in a prospect rpt where last week he was on base 16 time and of which he stole 12. i may have misread this. whoever wrote the rpt sucked.

Hideous is the understatement of the year. LOL Anemic would be accurate as well. i feel for the pitching staff

I don't think the players union would allow that. It happens in the Minors, but I don't think it is realistic in this scenario. The Sox just need to send JP down and gamble that he will clear waivers. If he doesn't, it would not be the end of the world. I wish the NBA had as strong a union as MLB (they have possibly the strongest union in America). People are put on the IR all the time in the NBA when they're perfectly healthy. I think that's BS. they allow this to happen b/c it means that a middle of the road player will be getting paid.

yup but the illuminti is a world wide one.

The ones in Chicago ocassionally tailgate and such. I'm out in Cali and I know there is a big contigence of us on the boards. There are a few in Oregon and I'd safely say we probably have a poster from each state on the board and a few countries. Either way, I think we have a great group here and I'm sure their will be many more great Sox fans coming over, especially after the Sox keep winning and winning. Some of course will be bandwagoners, but hey, if you get Bandwagon fans it means your doing something good so I don't have a problem with that. Also, I have seen some attacks lately but I'd like to say that I respect everyones opinion on here when it comes to baseball. Things have gotten heated at times and almost everytime things have ended up calming down and many times those that argue start to respect eachother more. I'm a firm believer that the people here can handle things and settle their own differences without personal attacks and if they go that way that they can get themselves out of it. Us admins/mods here try to just keep the trolls away and give the fans a place to give their opinion, whether its a rant of how much we suck or how great we are. I'd like to say that if people disagree with a certain poster about personal opinions to go ahead and say it, but when it does come to name calling, please stick away from it, it just isn't productive, kind of like our offense early in the season (Although I have no doubt it will be potent very soon). Anyway like Steff said: Back to Baseball oh man, i was getting a list of fav names to call you............. damn, maybe i will write them in spanish.

Funny, i never liked his curve. I thought it rolled too much and didn't have enough bite. Granted, I haven't seen him pitch much since 2000, so things could be different. His best asset is that he throws strikes and pitches aggressively. thanks for the help guys i thought fogg was better in the long relief.

LOL.. my mistake. Here's the correct link. http://www.maximonline.com/ ok, do you have a site on it? why do you like it, for the picts. It gives me insiteful information regarding the male species :-) And the jokes are funny as hell!! fair enuf.

i have never been a bush fan or supporter, however i thought this war was needed. however like bush daddy and reagan, they always found an excuse to do something in foreign politics to throw the american interest off the politics of the us. in this case the enron and the falling financial prob. now for the reason of this post. bush has been giving pres position to people who were in the bones society and other key pos as well. they, the appointee, have a long history of bones connection. he is running for reelection for the republicans. on the democrats side, sen carry(sp) is also a bones man, and his suppose running mate belongs to another secret society. does this bother anyone beside me. for what it is worth, rumors were ciculating around that bush daddy was tapped as a member of the highly secretives illuminti. but then again it is a rumor.

Well I think Baggs and I to a lesser extent would of agreed to that last year. Baggs probably still agrees, but I go with what I saw in Spring and I think this kid will be fine. Now if we could use Garland and say Lee to pull down a 3rd ace like AJ Burnett than I'm all for it. or stewart and a cat prospect from tor.

LDF, I just saw him briefly in one appearance. Unfortunately I was not in position to get a real good look. Hopefully I can catch him in the next 4 days. I know Backman is high on him and doesn't expect him to be in Birmingham long. He has a funky windup, kind of like Nomo, but not exactly the same. Throws very hard. I'll get good readings this week if possible. Sorry for slacking up to this point. you call this slacking.............. i am really happy that you are giving us anything. the future is the prospect and i can't get enuf rpt on them.

oops i didn't mean to make it sound as a smart ass comment.
-
but fogg has a 4.00+ era with a low whip. care to explain that?
-
when he was drafted, wasn't his fastball was in the mid 90's?
