Am I alone in hoping that Jose finishes his career with the White Sox if his health allows him? I mean he is easily worth 5 Mill in 2004 and will probably give us a discount again for 2005-2007 seasons until Andy Gonzalez or whomever are ready to step in. Since he is a very smart player with very good worth ethic and not a lof ot weight (heavy players tend to age faster), and since Lofton-esque super-quickness was never his primary tool, he could easily last into late his 30's without losing much skills. Ricky Handerson can still play at 44, lol..Who knows Manos may become our manager in 10-15 years. Also, am I the only person who doesnt want Tejada and his 5 year 60 million contract demands? Hell, I'd rather pay 2 million more and lock Valdimir Guerrero up long term. i can't believe this, but i am actually agreeing with you in this post.

Suggs last work out was even worse than his previous....... not good. I heard his 40 times were even slower to. 4.9 and 5.0 i think is what they said wow, what happened to this guy? He was supposed to be the best pass rusher in the draft. i don't know if i welcome you or not so welcome. here it is.1 i have never been a fan of clee b/c he hasn't learned to utilize his talent. but my thinking is this, trade him at his peak for someone who can help down the line in whatever pos. use the money you would have paid him and resign colon. i think signing colon is more important than resigning clee. however the key on this is what does big frank does and if come back to his pre 2000 hitting.

Actually our gas prices were really high because of the labor problems and general strike in Venezuela...but that's a different topic for another time. In KW's defense, at the time, the new CBA was being discussed, and there were rumors that compensation would not be given to teams that lost a player after offering him arbitration. I still think he could have gotten us something a little better than Jon Adkins though. you mention the magic words, should have gotten something better. it that is not the case, then don't make the trade. see if billy would have been hard press to sweeten the deal or then tough no deal. That's about the only beef I've had with the deal...and it's a big enough beef that it makes the whole deal terrible.....and everything surrounding the deal. We trade the best second baseman we've had since Nellie Fox for a guy that will be lucky to make it to the big leagues, let alone make a strong contribution? Pardon my thickness...but what anger you speaketh of? All I said is that perhaps, if the SOX want to maximize thier offensive potential (which so far has been barely fine against bad teams but probably wouldn't suffice when playing Yankees and Co.) they might want to look into making Maggs a CF as a small experiment...citing numerous reasons/examples and pros and cons. i had a hard time trying to figure out that movie. very confusing and yet it was scary. my take on it was that all the haunted girl wanted was to let everyone know what happen. by making the tapes she was doing that. if someone saw that film and don't get out the msg, they will die so as long as she made the tapes, her son will live. what i don't understand why the drama about her be uncovered? now i think it was a nice twist to a scary movie and i like it how she killed. it was nice.
