The iraqi national guard has its own supply lines and water... If we siege its the general populace we would starve to death. if we siege, we can cut off the supply line as well. ref to the civilians, what other choice do we have if we don't want to kill them?

I wouldn't say the thread was "suddenly created" because bmr got the boot. The thread was started on 2-25-03 & had no new replies since then, until Heads yesterday. either way, we never went after wsi only the mod's. i have huge respect for most of the posters there. this was never our board is better than yours. all it was some very harsh word directed at the mod's. which i am guilty about and will still do the same. that night was bs and yet was great b/c i would never have found out about this place nor would i have left.

if saddam (or whoever is in charge) starts using human shields around baghdad as we show up he will probably start killing them himself wit h mortar fire then use it as propaganda saying the US is killing iraqi civilians he cant win this war..all he can do is try and win the war of opinion ,especially in the arab world...he is hoping images of supposedly american troops blasting away on iraqi civilians will enrage the arab world even more esp to build up more hatre against us.

my wishes goes to you, my godson is in the seals and been out there for a very long time. right after 9/11 he left for the persian gulf with some leave here and there. i have been really been impress with the command and the tactics. however why not a siege? this monster is using children and hospital as a shield. turn off the electric by using a emf bomb. turn off the water and see what will become of it.
