In the course of reading, I notice when someone makes a mistake. If that means I don't have a life, then I guess I don't have a life. No, not at all. But, on a public forum in which people are going to be reading what you have to say, I feel it's only common courtesy to proof-read what you type before you post it. There's nothing worse than trying to make heads or tails out of a post that is laden with spelling and/or grammatical errors. :fyou people who don't know how to type. hey screw you if you want people to come up with the correct spelling and other things. we are here to have fun and talk sports. not being in a english class.

I believe it was a 1-year contract for $1M, with incentives that could have earned him another $500K. I don't remember for certain, though. damn, that is still short of what the twinks were offering. The twins are using the insurance money they are getting from milton being out to pay for rogers... so there owner isnt really dishing out any of his own money.... either way, i thought the sox could and would've came up with more in the incentives.

Yes. Kenny Williams commented after the Twins signed him and basically said that the Sox couldn't offer more at this point. Some people got on him for those comments, but that's just the way it is. Besides, while it would have been nice to add Kenny to fill our #5 hole, I think we've got enough as it is to be more than competitive this season (assuming, of course, our guys come though and play the way we know they're capable of). we need a cat who can hit without a cork.
