Got some good ones before Saturday: Today: Texas Tech v. Cal Friday: Arizona St v. Purdue Boise St v. Louisville (could be a fun offensive game to watch) Miami (FL) v. Florida

I finally saw Napoleon Dynamite and although it had its moments, it definitely wasn't as good as I was hoping for. Also saw Elf, which was hilarious. I wasn't expecting much, but really liked it. A good old movie that was on yesterday, was Escape From Alcatraz with Clint Eastwood. I've seen it at least 5 times and still stop and watch most of it whenever it's on. Watching Garden State tomorrow and going to see Life Aquatic this weekend.

I'm guessing Nebraska will be most people's favorites with Callahan having a year under his belt now (and some great recruits). CU, KSU and ISU have to close behind. Mizzou will have an experience offense, but graduated most of their defense. KU should improve on this past season. I doubt it could be as bad this year, but I'd imagine the teams will be pretty well bunched again.

Yeah, I had a couple large group or individual projects that were assigned at the beginning of the semester and due shortly after Thanksgiving/Spring break. The worst is the Prof. that throws an exam on the Friday before break so you can't go home early.

Repeating a lot of what's been said but: 1. I don't think I've ever had a bad seat at the Cell (especially after the UD fix), and like others have said it has the best food in the Bigs. Plus, odds are you'll end up sitting next to a knowledgeable fan who you'll be able to talk baseball with during the game (you won't find that on the northside). 2. I agree that the diehards are probably even, but the casual fans choose Wrigley as a drinking hole and b/c they've done better lately. When the Sox are doing well, especially in the playoff years, the casual fans all shift to the South. Welcome aboard

It's official now, OSU QB Troy Smith isn't playing in the Alamo Bowl b/c he took something of value from a booster. Also, one of their Freshman WR, Dukes, was arrested for Lewd Behavior.

Illini starting to pull away at the end of the 1st half... Mizzou stuck with them for awhile, the first 10 mins were probably the worst 10 Illinois has played all year.

I love when he yells random things to the players, forgetting there is a microphone right by his mouth. He did it earlier tonight, yelling "DENG" really loud. Good end to the half!
