  1. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Aug 22, 2016 -> 10:27 AM) There's a gif running around that I'll try to post later of the significant strikes McGregor landed. He beat the hell out of Diaz. McGregor has no business fighting at 170. His frame can't carry that weight. I hope they give him Alvarez next. Official significant strikes landed... Conor 166 Nate 164
  2. Conor runs his mouth then runs from Nate. What a punk. Unfortunately his blind followers believe whatever he says no matter the results.
  3. Round 2 was the deciding round. 4 May have been a little close. I've got to watch it again but I think it was the right decision. We'll see after watching it again. Anything close was going to go to mcgregor though.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 08:01 PM) Fulmer is very unimpressive. Definite trade bait this offseason if a team values him as a starter. That's quite the short leash for a first rounder.
  5. Q is pitching a GEM! 1 run scored? Cmon guys... Q deserves that 10th win.
  6. Lesnar? Snooze. DC and Silva same exact fight as above. Snooze. That whole wrestling and land a couple decent shots is garbage. Either go for a submission or pass the guard and really do some ground and pound. Disappointing card. 199 was actually better.
  7. QUOTE (sammy esposito @ Jun 19, 2016 -> 04:31 PM) The sox had opportunitie to score . Blame the hitters for not scoring. A 3 to 2 loss that went to extra innings does not indicate that the team has no pitching talent. When there's no hitting there's pitching. When there's no pitching we score more. If it's not one thing it's another.
  8. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jun 19, 2016 -> 03:24 PM) Albers, Ynoa, Jennings, Duke. They all were not over pitched yesterday and are better than D Rob in a non save situation. Are you saying RV was waving the white flag and if we made it past that inning we lost no matter what. Isn't the closer supposed to be your best guy in the bullpen? I don't care if it's a non save situation or not, he didn't get the job done. While I'm not a big Ventura fan, the players are at fault. Can't hold it down when we're tied or leading.
  9. What are some ways to get a really good deal on extending the warranty on a new car? I've still got some time left before mine runs out. I remember at one point people were discussing that in the this thread.
  10. I wasn't a fan whatsoever of this signing. My opinion was if he can prove he can still play, play him. Well I'd rather have good defense in Saladino and not a great bat than both a bad bat and glove with Jimmy. At least we can save some runs with Tyler. Please let this be true.
  11. The Royals broadcast is high on something. They actually said the Royals are defending themselves from being bullied by teams like the White Sox and A's.
  12. Albers, please go play ball with Humber.
  13. QUOTE (ptatc @ May 26, 2016 -> 10:43 PM) He shouldn't be out for the year if it's only the ACL and no surgery is required. Although it's probably all of June and July. Unfortunately for them he needs surgery. Looks like they're seeking one more opinion, but they've pretty much accepted he'll need surgery. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/180406208/ro...ght-knee-injury
  14. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 26, 2016 -> 03:11 PM) Moustakas to the DL with partially torn ACL Huge blow. They're preparing to be without him for the rest of the year. Sucks for them with Gordon going on the DL too with a wrist injury. Those zap a players power. Not feeling bad for them though. It is what it is. I still remember what it was like to lose Maggs and Thomas in 04.
  15. QUOTE (thedoctor @ May 26, 2016 -> 07:39 PM) 3-4 with an rbi tonight. /shrug And he needs to continue having those nights to deserve a call up.
  16. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 25, 2016 -> 06:38 AM) 2 hour commutes suck Yup, I lasted 3 years doing a 1.5 hour commute.
  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 13, 2016 -> 09:10 PM) And that Arrieta guy. Sale has been doing it for longer.
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 9, 2016 -> 11:41 PM) I think Harper might get fined or suspended for this, but it's absolutely hilarious. He's trying to be the new face of the mlb right? Well he should get suspended for that. Cmon, so many kids are going to see that. Show some class.
  19. Lol the fact that so many people believe it is funny. And I when I say that I mean so many media outlets reporting it like it's true.
  20. QUOTE (flavum @ May 4, 2016 -> 06:53 PM) Yeah, until they get to September, it's hard to decide who to root for when the Tigers/Royals/Indians play each other. By the way, the Sox have played the fewest division games than anyone in baseball- 5. Dominate the Twins, and win 9 or 10 against the other three, and the division is won. I believe the sox were possibly the worse in the central in head to head last year.
  21. QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 08:18 PM) Sort of. Even after the loss, he's the biggest star they have with that status of Ronda sort of up in the air. The UFC is hurting for house hold names right now and need McGregor to be fighting as much as possible. Conor knows this. I'm sure his price goes up after every fight and the UFC doesn't want to go that much higher and is using the loss against him in negotiations. On top of it, the UFC is most likely finalizing the contract for the GSP return, which is going to cost them A LOT. And Conor is most likely using that in negotiations as well. A lot of layers here. Clearly as we all know, this isn't about him not making a press conference. This is way, way deeper. Oh yeah, it's not a press conference thing. Conor loves those. I still think the UFC has the upper hand. They do need Conor, but he can't fight anywhere, but the UFC. He's not even 30. He's going to have to bring his demands down at least enough to where the UFC is willing to go.
  22. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 06:12 AM) Sox have a pattern of biggest offensive addition tanking over and over..............Swisher, Dunn, LaRoche now Frazier This makes me want to cry as a Sox fan.
  23. QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 07:51 PM) This is basically on the UFC. They created this monster and now he's become too powerful and they don't know how to control him. He's Frankenstein. They definitely did give him everything and are at fault, but he's also the one that's locked in to a contract with the UFC in terms of MMA. So if he wants to fight again, the UFC has the upper hand.
  24. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 07:13 PM) Well he's out of UFC 200 so who knows what the hell is going on. Good, so now we get a real main event. Sucks for Nate.
  25. Can't believe people actually thinks this is true. This guy is just starting to make millions. He's not going to let that go... Cmon.
