  1. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 06:05 PM) I moved this to the main FS board Sounds like an interesting player. Thank you.
  2. I should have posted this in the main minor league board, but oh well. I suppose a admin could move it if necessary.
  3. this is guy might be special. here is Phil Rogers take on him.
  4. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 09:34 PM) I had a blast last year. Enjoy it, and guess what..... It only gets better! Even better.
  5. I know I am glad that high school is basically over and I really don't have to work during school for the rest of year. Anyone else feeling second semester senioritis?
  6. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 08:53 PM) Wow. Iowa up 30-27 at the half. Somehow we've got momentum, closing out the half with a 11-4 run. This bodes well for us, being just down 3 on the road, surviving another horrid start to the game. Killingsworth has done nothing; Hansen and Brunner are taking care of him big time down low. Just like the Illini game for Killingsworth, 2nd half monster.
  7. Iowa jumps out to an early 9-3 lead.
  8. NFL network has aired some the practices. Tye Hill is amazing, great speed and hands, if he slips--which is possible being the 3rd rated corner--I would be happy if the Bears took him.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) Not close at all Wow, when this comes out, I think some people will believe Phil Rogers was on crack writing this. This looks like it going to be crazy.
  10. QUOTE(MarkBuehrle_TheAce @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 08:05 PM) Ok im new at all this so if ne one wants to give me some suggestions on ne thing, feel free to tell me. on to the 'sox talk', Paulie and Thome are gonna b monsters this season, IF Thome stays healthy, which i think he will. With Thome protecting Konerko, it forces them to pitch to AT LEAST one of them, therefore im busy penciling Paulie in at 40+ homers and Thome at 35+, what do you guys think?? P.S: The one on the Right is Minnesota Welcome to Soxtalk. Even if Thome isn't healthy, I think we can win it all, but it sure helps.
  11. Now that the trade is off, Peja is PO'd. Pax could try and trade for him. Ben Gordon would likely go, but I think it may be risky considering Peja has injury problems and declining.
  12. How would Ron Artest look in a Bulls uni? He is one of the top ten players in the league when he plays. He is by far the best guard defender. I know he would come back, but he kind of has the TO syndrome where he ruins teams. But, no doubt, that type of talent is what the Bulls need. I would entertain Gordon and the latter first round pick.
  13. South Florida let's go, it only helps the Big Ten RPI and subsequenly ILL.
  14. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 07:51 PM) Too pitching heavy It's tough this year b/c if we had Young and Gio, the top prospect list would be easier. 1. Young 2. ********* 3. Anderson 4. Gonzalez 5. Broadway
  15. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 07:47 PM) South Florida up 42-36 on Villanova with 6 mins left. This is why I love college b-ball. With all the early entries, there is so much parody in college b-ball.
  16. Big Big Big Ten Game tonight with Indy vs. Iowa. I am really hoping the Hawkeyes pull it out. With Wisconsin's recent on-court struggle and some off-the-court problems, an Indy loss will even out the Big Ten race. However, if they win, I think they might take the title. 5-1 is a damn good start.
  17. I will go ahead and guess the top 5 minus #1, who I already know. 1.********** 2. Anderson 3. Broadway 4. Liotta 5. Sweeney Fathom, can you tell me if I am close?
  18. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 06:14 PM) Spit it out, spanky. I don't want to ruin the surprise for some folks. PM me and I will tell you.
  19. You guys are forgetting a top prospect on that list, he will be very highly ranked tomorrow. I'll let you guys figure it out.
  20. Soxfest Schedule is out. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...ity/soxfest.jsp
  21. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 23, 2006 -> 05:29 PM) I once asked about this song too. It's called, "Heart of a Champion" by Nelly Yep, that is it. It's a good warmup song. Thanks.
  22. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedi....1.exclude.html This will get to the list and Coach Skiles is 7th with the 30 assists.

    QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 23, 2006 -> 02:00 PM) I think mole day is October 23rd, but that's another story. I thought mole day was June 23rd. 1 mole = 6.23 x 10 ......
