  1. I loved Edgar, last night was sad.
  2. He's been the best so far.
  3. I'm ChiSoxKid, it did it automatically from another league.
  4. Rick Hahn said that Lopez has been the most impressive of the lefties so far and that he bases it mostly of how his own players have fared. He said that the Sox hitters have had a hard time picking up his funky delivery. It also doesn't hurt that most the lefties in camp have sucked minus Lopez and Munoz.
  5. If he comes relatively cheap, then I am all for it b/c he is serviceable. otehrwise...
  6. nice shot Ben, nice try Noc.
  7. Bulls tied it up. They really seem to play better when Noc is in the line-up. You might even start him with Deng, Hinrich, Gordon and Chandler, but that would be a real small line-up. However, Noc is the energy to this team, it might be something to consider.
  8. When are we gonna get this thing rolling? I am excited.
  9. Hey guys, I just wanted to get this out there that this Sunday, New Trier High School's radio station (WNTH 88.1 FM), which I am Program Director of, will be hosting a 15-hour radio-thon. All the money we raise goes to Children's Memorial Hospital. Our special guests include Dick Vitale, Ron Turner, Rick Hahn (Sox Asst. GM,) Len Kasper, Harry Teinowitz, Ryan Baker, John Anderson (SportsCenter.) If you would like to make a donation, please go to WNTH.org. If you can't make a donation, you can also listen. Just trying to get our radio-thon more pub.
  10. good read. Sox are going to get some very good latin american signees in the future because of stuff like this.
  11. Damn, that got me.
  12. I would cry at the video. I just scored tickets to the NU game, will be rooting hard for the Wildcats.
  13. UConn, they have too many good players. Hilton Armstrong, Rudy Gay, Josh Boone, Denham Brown, Rashad Anderson and Marcus Williams. But in second, I would pick Villanova because of their guard play.
  14. QUOTE(thedoctor @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 10:06 PM) props to james augustine tonight. he gets a fair amount of criticism for not playing up to his potential, but tonight he played the type of game that he's capable of. Yeah, and he added the passing game tonight. Every broadcaster says this team goes as Dee Brown goes, but it Auggie isn't playing well, this team goes nowhere as well. When he stays out of foul trouble, Illinois wins.
  15. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2349009 How does Ridnour make it, but now Hinrich? Well, it doesn't matter Hinrich nor Ridnour would have made the final roster.
  16. Great win for the Illini. Minnesota had beaten three straight ranked teams at home. I still believe, talent-wise, Minny is an NCAA tourney team, but obviously they won't be in the tourney unless they win the BT Tourney.
  17. Kirk gave guys some good looks and he doesn't get it. Come on Deng, you had two gimmies from Kirk.
  18. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:56 PM) It's all good. I assume from what you said earlier that Pope was awesome? Pope was great catching and running (4.62 for a 6'8" guy.) His blocking wasn't that great b/c of his lack of lower body strength, but if he is there at 26 (assuming Davis has already been picked) the Bears gotta take him. He is truly going to be a weapon in the passing game, immediately.
  19. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:52 PM) Hey maggsmaggs did you watch the TE catching thing? If so how did Owen Daniels from Wisconsin look. I watched, but I was fast-forwarding a lot to see Davis, Pope, Lewis, Day, Klopenstein and Mills, so I missed Daniels. Sorry.
  20. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 02:52 PM) According to This SI piece the Bears are likely to have less than $10 million in cap room available this year, depending on if anyone gets cut or not. Given their needs at other positions and how close they wound up last year, this just doesn't seem like the time to waste cap room on a QB. You're just not going to find one who's going to be worth not filling gaps at other positions (Or did you enjoy Tillman on Steve Smith?). I think that is wrong, IIRC, the Bears have near $17 million not counting when they cut Mike Green.
  21. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 05:52 PM) I heard Davis had a lot of problems actually catching the football at the combine. Not that it matters much. I wouldn't call it a lot of problems, he just missed a couple. But in comparison to Pope and Klopestein, he didn't catch the ball as well.
  22. Kirk looks pissed every time his teammates pass the ball after he gives it to them. Get Kirk the triple drouble.
  23. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:44 PM) I am watching the Illini game, just watching Bulls on Yahoo. Gottcha, I am pressing the back button on my remote every ten seconds.
  24. Very impressive game for the Bulls minus Duhon, Pargo and Allen. WHarris shouldn't you be watching Brent?
