  1. The only thing those 2 have in common is that they both really love Roberto Alomar, other than that KW >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Phillips.
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 25, 2005 -> 10:01 PM) This is nuts. Absolutely nuts. Four of our players have 3 hits. Everybody else has 2, cept Carl, who has none. And Carl has 3 walks in a SF.

  4. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jul 25, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) I wouldn't trade Mac for a rental. Schmidt would be different since you get at least one more full year but I wouldn't do it for three months of a player unless he were one of the games greatest pitchers, not merely a pretty good one with great stuff. Exactly how I feel.
  5. Spiderman w/ the clutch basehit....3-3 for the night, 4 RBIs
  6. Greinke wasn't on his game tonight; hence the Sox offense is in the position it's in. Call to the pen, loaded for AJP.
  7. QUOTE(Big Hurtin @ Jul 25, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) Does that mean he's due to have some web gems? ZING!
  8. Crede!!! My 2nd favorite player () on the Sox extends the inning!
  9. GREAT to see Dye back in the lineup...3-0 Sox on the basehit by JD!
  10. What pitcher in the big leagues would you compare yourself to?
  11. The only way I can justify losing BMac is if Burnett is signed to a deal. I can't justify losing BMac for the service of Burnett for just a few months. I don't see him making us that much better.

  13. They just need to get past New England, and I'm hoping NE will slip just a tad with the loss of their coordinators. Whoever wins the Monday night game in NE is probably going to have home field over the other in the playoffs. Indy needs that bad. All my teams have that team like New England stopping mine from getting to the next step in the past few years. Patriots--Colts Twins--White Sox Pistons--Pacers
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 25, 2005 -> 12:23 PM) I've got to chuckle at anyone not picking the Colts in the AFC South. ^^^^
  15. Going for #10 against the Royals this year; let's do it!
  16. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Jul 25, 2005 -> 01:44 AM) http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2115697 Good lord the Pacers are looking good. They might be the deepest, most versatile team in the league. For those who don't know much about Jasikevicius, he's got shooting, ballhandling, and passing skills that rival Steve Nash. And Like Nash, he's also a matador defender. But overall, this is a very good signing by the Pacers. If Artest can stop acting like a fool and just play basketball, this might be the best team in the east. I'm hearing very great things about Jasikevicius right now. The only downside I can see to this deal is that it basically guarantees Dale Davis won't be coming back. However, it seems much more important for the Pacers to secure their backcourt with how Tinsley was in and out last year. I'm getting pretty excited about this season!
  17. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 24, 2005 -> 08:34 PM) It's debatable. We'll see. Let's wait till his career is finished and all the numbers are in. Outside of White Sox fandom, people think Frank doesn't even have that great of a shot at the HOF. The only thing Nomar would have over Frank is BA and that he played the field (not very well though). Oh well, back on topic. Just had to get that out there.
  18. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 24, 2005 -> 08:31 PM) That would be Jermaine Dye. And yes, Nomar would not have finished with those numbers if he stayed healthy. He's too good of a natural hitter for him to stay in that kind of rut. I wouldn't call Nomar a HOFer though.
