Despite being in first, White Sox just cannot win
greasywheels121 replied to IlliniKrush's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I don't even want to read another article on attendance. We're averaging 31,853 over our last 20 home games, and all the games in this series are basically guaranteed to be sellouts. -
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 11:22 PM) I don't know. Stephen A. Smith was pretty good as a fill in for Jim Rome. Jim Rome = Stephen A = awful

Wow that was awful Hawk.

And according to Mr. Reifert's blog, "As of 9 am, just 500 tickets remain for today's game. Sales for the four-game Boston series remain brisk, so act soon if you intend to attend."

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 19, 2005 -> 09:44 PM) There is no use in arguing if you honestly believe that a 100% Schmidt is better than a 100% Contreras... Then stop. -

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 19, 2005 -> 09:39 PM) Because Shingo will be gone anyway. So basically it's Count/BMac for Schmidt/El Duque. BMac was less than spectacular in his performance in the bigs. Besides, when has a prospect KW traded become very successful and up to par with his expectation? And are you seriously comparing Schmidt to Nomo??? You're right. BMac's career is over at age 21. :headshake :headshake :headshake :headshake -

DJ said before the game that Contreras is something like 22-2 in his career when his team scores 3 runs for him. -

I always get something to drink for the souvenir cup too. I still use my first one from '94.

I'm sure this has been done several times in the past, but I'm too lazy to search it. What are some of your favorite foods at the park? I usually only end up getting a hot dog out of tradition. I know our food's the best, and I just want some new suggestions. I got to break out of tradition and try some new things on Saturday.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 19, 2005 -> 03:02 PM) Yep. Cool stuff. I love his blog. Especially because he tends to get the lineup online before any of the other media outlets.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 19, 2005 -> 02:02 PM) Guys.. this is going to be a ton of fun. I encourage anyone that can, to go. Brooks and Scott are working very hard to get it done. Huge kudo's to both of them! Scott Reifert?
