Killingsworth wants to play for IU
Haha.... I just love how the "bandwagonin'" Chisox fan, WsoxShuf thinks he knows all though. These players aren't all that bad, looking at their numbers. However, now they're moving to a new team, new coach, and a new conference. These all could make them change for the better, or for the worse. We'll just have to let them play it out. Jose Valentin was an awesome Milwaukee Brewer, wasn't he?

Anyone going to tomorrow's game?
That kicked so much ass. It was such a great game to be at. I love the way USCF looks now; it's my first time in Chicago since the summer of '01. The roof, the fan deck, the scoreboards, etc. etc. all looked awesome. I just still love that feeling of when you first step foot on the concourse and you can see the field. AWESOME stuff!

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER
That's the best game I've been to, period. Being that it's the first game I've been to since '01!

Timo
Timo's such a pimp. Ha it was awesome; everytime he made a play, he would watch his replay on the center field scoreboard. He was really cool to the fans along the 1B line and RF.

Ladies and Gentlemen
It was a great crowd today. The whole lower level was filled and a great deal of the upperdeck was covered. It looked awesome seeing the park filled like that on a Thursday afternoon start. I was quite impressed.

Fallen Angels to Sox (we pray)
This game kicked so much ass. I just got home from it. It had it all. The Carlos HR, the all-star pitcher, and a great back and forth game. I was so down, and worried after seeing the Angels keep piling them on. That place erupted when we tied the game up in the 5th, and in the 8th. All 27,845 went INSANE after that Uribe hit; damn that was so much fun. I didn't know Mags was activated; I don't think anyone knew in the park with the early start. It was cool though; I saw him running around and taking BP today. It's great to get some life back into this team with a win like this and getting Mags back. This is our 43rd win, and 26 of them have been come from behind victories!

Tim Kurkjian
I just got back from today's game. Kong seriously got jipped out of this one; he's been our MVP this first half of the season.

Anyone going to tomorrow's game?
I'll be there. I'm heading up with a friend. My mom was stingy about us going on our own, but I finally persuaded her. A friend and I are driving up to South Bend to take the train into Chicago, and then we're coming back late in the night. A little lame I know, but I don't really care if I get to see the Sox play! I'm out for now. I have to work until 11, and I probably won't be on tonight, because I have to leave the house tomorrow at 5:30 AM. So hopefully things have changed for the Sox when I'm back. Let's cap off the first half with a little win streak! Go Sox!

Could you pass the US citzenship test?
I only missed the 49th state question.

Final Vote ends today
I bet they do. We should see final numbers tomorrow.

Final Vote ends today
We had no chance. You had NY and Japan voting for Matsui, and we had a lot of votes going to two deserving players. We basically cancelled ourselves out with MLB putting two of our players on the Final Vote.

Ah just like someone's "support" for the Chisox... ::cough cough::

Lewis Monroe, a 6'5'' Junior PG from Auburn, will be another welcomed transfer from Auburn.

KW: Anybody know a worse GM?
It's all in the cawds's mon!

KW: Anybody know a worse GM?
Wells did do some questionable things, but we still have to give him some credit. Your guy Buerhle gave Wells a lot of credit for what he taught him in Chicago; I think that's pretty huge.

Esteban Loaiza
Well then Loaiza....Thanks for 2003, but you're not going to pull a Mags here and try to get Garcia money. I'd be glad to have Loaiza stay here after 2004, but only for the right price.

Why Not to worry about the Sox?
The thing that really pisses me off about this are some of the people on here. Last week when we're on the little winning streak, people were going insane. Everyone was talking like they might as well hand us over the World Series rings and trophy right now. People kept trying to ground those people, saying that the season IS a long one, and that we would probably go on a little down fall again. They obviously didn't listen. Now that we lose 4 games in a row, the sky is falling. Now it's like we're going to finish with the worst record in baseball. I could go so much deeper into this point, but I'm absolutely tired of it.

FutureSox Panel of Experts
This will definitely be interesting, and it will help me learn at least a little bit about the minor league system. I only know so much, and I know we have some informed people on the subject. Good stuff as always.

To all watching the Angels/Sox game
Because Qwerty deleted his post and reposted it....Gotta pad those post totals.....

calling out Magglio Ordonez
I don't see him going to the Yanks. Who plays CF? Mags, Matsui, or Sheff?
-
From the man's mouth himself
Agreed. I'm just starting to get tired of it. I thought he said he was waiting until the offseason like months ago, and yet we heard stuff about contract talks a million times up to this point in the season. Mags is good, but not 5 year $70M good. Hasta luego Magglio.

July 4th hangover? We need a game thread boyz
This is getting old. The name of the thread has no kind of effect on the outcome of the game.
