  1. Nice job with those Goldmember. I really like the one w/ the cop siren and the file.
  2. Garcia's been in MLB since 1999. We didn't give him the contract based on what he did soley in the Minnesota start. He's been proven over the years; he's one of the better starters in the league. Garcia was going to demand much more on the open market. I guess this team can never make the fans happy. People were pissed that we didn't keep Colon, etc. Now we finally lock up one of those acquistions, and now everyone's pissed that we signed him because he lost one game?!? Now that's just lame.
  3. Good god.... Let's put all our money in one start. Why the f*** do people do that?
  4. I've spent a few hours voting for Frank; however, I really don't care as much this year. I want our players to get their deserved credit. However, I put more time into it last year, and I'm just not feeling it as much after last year. I think it's ridiculous how Frank, the White Sox' greatest franchise player, couldn't play in the ASG in the White Sox' stadium. Now that's a traveshamockery.
  5. Why don't people bash him for that? He cost them the game!
  6. It's not exactly insurance when we're down....
  7. We've offered Mags 984983 offers, and he has yet to bite on one. I don't think he wants to come back.
  8. Ah sorry, I didn't make it. I just copied it off the Chisox.com website. I bet one of the photoshop wiz's could set that up quickly if you shot them a PM or something.
  9. They're both fun as hell, really. My friends and I always play tennis at this park nearby. It's definitely not even close to being a cakewalk. We absolutely suck, but it's still fun. Soccer's really underrated in America too; I played in a league for a couple of years. I'm not sure what made me give it up. However, I still do watch soccer occasionally and I'm still into it. I love the Beasley's, being that they're both alums of my elementary, middle, and high schools. I also will catch a few soccer games at IU; that'll be kind of cool. They get decent crowds for that, IU actually just won the Division I soccer championship last winter. It is kind of weird how America is with sports though. The whole world loves soccer, yet America really doesn't accept it. However, a mass of people (I, not included) enjoy watching Nascar, where people turn left for 4 hours. Whatever.
  10. Yoda, you should switch your Freddy picture to the one on Chisox.com w/ the White Sox hat.
  11. Agreed. I really don't know how I feel about Guardado. I like his numbers; however, picturing him in a Sox uni sounds a little wrong.
  12. If that's the lineup it's obviously... Harris--2B Timo--CF Frank--DH Lee--LF Jose--SS Konerko--1B Gload--RF Crede--3B Davis--C
  13. Ben Davis is supposed to start at catcher tonight for the Sox. Anyone else have the rest of the lineup?
  14. They mentioned on PTI that former Purdue assistant Steve Lavin is interested in the OSU job. It'll be interesting to see if they give him the time of the day.
  15. I'd rather have Pavano; we have a solid lineup right now. We'd have one of the best starting five to go with it now, if we had Pavano.
  16. We'd be pretty pissed right now if this trade didn't go down. We'd still have a starting pitcher dilemma, and our starting catcher would be on the DL. We have a proven top of the rotation pitcher signed for a few years now; the trades a good one now.
  17. I don't know about them being best friends or A-Rod making a push for Mags; however, it has been noted that Mags and A-Rod do work out in the offseason.
  18. The huge thing is, with that kind of staff for the next few years, it doesn't look like we'll be unloading the team anytime soon.
  19. Am I missing out, or am I missing out? Do we get a complimentary bag of Seyfert's potatoe chips for visiting?
  20. Where in IN was Quayle from?
  21. That's true. That trade was basically a wash; I think the only deal I hated of his was the Ritchie for Kip Wells and crew to Pittsburgh. Kip Wells would have been quite valuable to this club over the past couple years.
  22. The Mets have an option on Hildago, and I see them using that as an excuse to not go after Mags in the offseason. I have a feeling if we don't get him signed, I'll be shocked if we do, that he ends up in Baltimore. They still have tons of money to blow after last year's offseason. They just kind of stopped going after players, and said they would wait for this year's FA class.
