  1. Who's #1 in the Big Ten??? IU!!!!!!! Great f***in' game....Went back and forth the whole 2nd half. AJ Moye stepped up big tonight. Roderick Wilmont at the end w/ the 2 big three's! We're backkkkkkkkkk!!!!
  2. With tonight's big rivalry game between IU and Purdue...... Classic is showing a couple old games.... The first one is from Feb. of 1985. (on right now, started at 1 pm est) The second game is from 1997 (on at 5 pm est) This all leads up to the showdown between.... IU!!! vs. Purdue :finger at 7 pm est on ESPN.
  3. Well the A-Rod deal should finally be dead. The Rangers made A-Rod captain to stop those rumors. So we have no reason to move Jose unless we think Uribe can stand out there. I feel better just keeping Jose here, because the Yanks obviously have no farm. I really don't see anyone on their roster now that I would want, w/ what they are paying them.
  4. If we can get through these two long months, just think......In two months, the weather will be nice/nicer....and March Madness will be in full swing!!
  5. ....I took care of all that wayyyyyy back on Sunday, since there was no football or any of that good stuff.
  6. I hate to lose Mags, but I don't think there's anything we can do to see Mags playing in a White Sox uniform after the 2004 season. I would definitely be open to the Perez, Jackson, and Miller for Mags deal that has been talked about as many times as the A-Rod deal here. I also think picking up Scott Erickson would be great for this ballclub. With these two moves, I really see A LOT of potential for the 2004 season.
  7. Welcome to the board, Athome...You'll love it here!!!
  8. Saw a couple notes on ex-Sox players in that 2nd article. Did Clayton ever end up signing w/ the Rockies? Rick White signed a minor league deal w/ LA.
  9. LIFE IS GOOD!! This impromptu 3 day weekend has now become a 4 day weekend! The clutch thing is as a senior, today's day off from school won't be made-up.
  10. It's getting close...but it'll have a definite roof on top of this skeleton their putting up now.
  11. He's pretty good.....It may not be his finest work...BUT..."What's Eating Gilbert Grape is awesome?" It has a young Leo DiCrapio showing his true colors.
  12. "No...You have to be the PRODUCER" They've been pretty good about updating these lately....a question about The Cheat..... SB Email
  13. This just royally screws the Yanks..... There's virtually no one on the market to sign or to trade for....Have fun w/ that one Bankees.
  14. The interim coach has some IU ties.... Lawrence Frank College - Indiana '92 Nets assistant coach Lawrence Frank joined Byron Scott's coaching staff during the 2000-01 season and begins his fourth year as a Nets assistant coach. A native of Teaneck, New Jersey, Frank spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the Vancouver Grizzlies under Brian Hill. Frank's responsibilities with the Grizzlies included scouting upcoming opponents as well as practice and bench coaching duties. Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Frank served as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee for three seasons under Head Coach Kevin O'Neill. Frank first worked with O'Neill as a staff assistant at Marquette in 1992 and during his tenure, helped lead the Marquette Warriors to two NCAA tournament berths and a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 1994. Frank earned his B.S. in education from Indiana University in 1992, where he spent four seasons as a manager for the Hoosier basketball team led by Bob Knight. He also holds an M.S. in education administration from Marquette. Lawrence and his wife, Susan, have two daughters, and reside in Englewood, New Jersey.
  15. I'm sure a lot of you heard the tirade by Jim Calhoun after the loss to Providence....Well now he's sorry.... STORRS, Conn. -- Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun apologized to a newspaper columnist on Monday, two days after he reacted to a recruiting question with a profanity-laced tirade. Calhoun lashed out at Dave Solomon of the New Haven Register after UConn's 66-56 loss to Providence when Solomon asked him to comment on the improvement of Providence's Ryan Gomes. The Waterbury native scored 26 points and had 12 rebounds Saturday to lead PC in an upset of the No. 6 Huskies. "I took Emeka Okafor and Caron Butler. They're not bad!" Calhoun shouted. "I can't get everyone!" Calhoun said he felt an apology was necessary "not because whether I agreed or disagreed with his timing or question or anything of that nature, because I berated him in front of his peers." Calhoun issued his apology during a conference call to discuss the Huskies game Tuesday at Virginia Tech. "Over 18 years (Solomon) has always treated me exceptionally fair," Calhoun said. "The discussion could have certainly taken place someplace else. I felt very strongly I misused the podium in a moment for someone who I have great respect for professionally and personally." Solomon said Monday the apology was "appreciated but not necessary."
  16. Ah, I was going to say..... Texas Tech's first loss in the Big 12....62-61 at home, against Texas in OT
  17. I'm not seeing this UNC-Wake game on any scoreboards...
  18. Nice...I can't stand UNC. I have a friend who hopped on their bandwagon in the 90's; it'll be nice to rub it in some.
  19. Oh I know...It's really reminding me of IU this season. They have trouble stopping anything inside, unless Leach is in the game. That is what brought Minnesota back into that game Saturday; we had to ice Leach w/ the 3 fouls all 2nd half.
  20. It's a great game either way, but WOW...I can't belive that if Knight's squad wins, they'll be 5-0......They were predicted like 6th or 7th in the Big 12. Texas does have the expierence in OT this year.
  21. Hopefully we have a respectable season, and Mags can at the least play the whole 2004 season here. I really hope something miraculous happens that he ends up staying here when it's all said and done.
  22. Exactly...It's funny how this somehow ended up being our biggest problem this offseason. It's a joke.
