  1. LMAO... I kind of glanced through the questions just now, and I have a hard time believing that Kenny answered those.
  2. MSU wins 79-78 in OT....They needed this, I'm glad they're still at least somewhat alive.....They're now 9-8 and 4-2 in the Big Ten. Saturday is a big game for both IU and MSU on turn back the clock night in East Lansing.
  3. One more coaching note....Temple's John Chaney gets win #700, when his Owls beat St. Bona 76-57.
  4. Louisville wins their 16th straight game...They beat Houston 64-48 w/ assistant coach Kevin Willard in for Pitino. In the ESPN article, it also says Pitino will be back for afternoon practice w/ the Cards on Thursday afternoon.
  5. Well Wisconsin moves back into a tie for first w/ Indiana at 5-1, after defeating Ohio State 69-57...... Michigan State ends up tying it at 69-69.....Mauricer Ager w/ the 3 point shot at the buzzer to go into OT!
  6. Houston, Bragg Mora, Orioles OK $10.5M, Three-Year Deal INTERACTIVES 2003 Baseball Tigers president and general manager Dave Dombrowski did not immediately return a telephone call seeking comment. "We've been working diligently with the Tigers on this matter," said Rodriguez's agent, Scott Boras. "We're having further meetings on Thursday." Rodriguez, 32, spent his first 12 seasons with the Rangers, then became a free agent and signed a $10 million, one-year deal with the Marlins. Rodriguez hit .313 last season with 16 homers and 85 RBIs, and he was MVP of the NL championship series win over the Chicago Cubs. After helping lead the Marlins past the New York Yankees in the World Series last season, he was never offered more than two guaranteed years by Florida. Baltimore and Seattle also were said to be interested in Rodriguez. With the Tigers, he would join one of the greatest turnaround efforts in baseball history. Detroit went 43-119 last season, setting the American League record for losses. The Tigers won five of their last six games to avoid tying the post-1900 major league record of 120 losses, set by the 1962 New York Mets. Detroit, which moved into Comerica Park in 2000, has finished with a losing record in 10 straight seasons and drew 1.37 million fans at home last season, 27th among the 30 major league teams. Trying to invigorate the team, the Tigers have reached agreements with second baseman Fernando Vina, outfielder Rondell White and right-hander Jason Johnson. Since winning their second Series title in seven seasons, the Marlins have either traded away or lost as free agents several of their key players, including Derrek Lee, Mark Redman, Juan Encarnacion, Ugueth Urbina and Braden Looper. Florida has signed closer Armando Benitez and on Wednesday added left-hander Darren Oliver, agreeing to a $750,000, one-year contract. Like Pro Player Stadium in Miami, Comerica Park is a tough place for hitters. Rodriguez is a 10-time Gold Glove winner behind the plate and won the 1999 AL MVP award.
  7. That's what I thought.....I thought being THAT tested before the Big Ten season would just allow them to run all over the Big Ten. I'm kind of disappointed, I want to see the Big Ten do well as a whole. They have had their 5 teams every year since the tourney has expanded to 64, that will be a real stretch to happen this year.
  8. WOW..I've been keeping an eye on the Big Ten scoreboard to see if Wisconsin will end up tying IU for the Big Ten lead again...and it looks like they will at OSU; they're up 65-47 w/ 3:50 left... But....I also saw Minnesota's up 37-18 on MSU...I really don't know what to think about MSU right now.
  9. Congrats to Wally....I don't know what to believe w/ what happened this season with Backman, but he is a good baseball guy. He's well deserving of this.
  10. They moved Gary to the OF for a reason. I would be pretty happy though if their infield is Sheff, Jeter, Soriano, and Giambi.... ....Jeter's the only sure thing in that INF.
  11. Rick Majerus did great things for Utah. He made that a good college to go to, to play basketball. They've been respectable as long as he's been there, they're 15-5 today. I really wish Majerus the best.
  12. That whole thing between Ozzie, KW, and Thomas doesn't look so bad now.... :headshake
  13. Which one of us wrote the aricle? I would never want to see the Chisox move, but If they ever did I would love to see Indy have an MLB team. White Sox games would be 2 hours away vs. 3 as they are now.
  14. 12 lead changes and 3 ties in this IU-Purdue game.....I'm LOVING that game....
  15. Yep...and w/ the way Atlanta's looking...I don't see him being there MUCH longer.
  16. That's good to see despite the "rough" offseason, the devoted and true fans still will be there. I only got to go to the 1994 one, it was a late Christmas present. I had such a great time. I think next year when I'm in college, I'll try to get a couple friends to go up to Chicago w/ me to the next one.
  17. That's the first team I really got to know, since I have only been REALLY following the team since 1990 or so. So I'm going w/ that team also.
  18. 14 out 15 Eastern Conference teams have changed their coach since June of 2002.
  19. I like the new avatar, SS2K! Damn, I'm too happy about this game! That block Leach had on Buscher!!
