Favorite Sox's of all time
Welcome to the site! I'm going out on a limb w/ this one..... Frank Thomas I just kind of started to learn the team and playing baseball (T-Ball--age 4!) around the same time he was coming up with the team. Others I like or liked were Lance Johnson, Robin Ventura, Ray Durham, and Mags.

Kansas @ Iowa State
Anyone notice a certain Kansas fan hasn't said anything about this game......
-
Uh Ohhhhhhhh.....
Okay, I love Hawk and all, but should have he really said this? It just kills any trade value of Mags, if we were to decide to get something for him this season. This is from the Trib article....Cheers, jeers and fears at SoxFest

Michael Reinsdorf
You never know. The younger Reinsdorf could have a whole different perception of the team. He might not have the "Reinsdorf mentality" when it comes to owning a team.

I don't have a good feeling about this...Notice 2 other random names are made at the same time.

I sure hope so. IU's been to the tourney every year since I've been born. I would hate for that streak and the Big Ten's streak of getting at least 5 teams into the tourney come to a halt this year.

It was nice to see Bracey get back on his game tonight, he had trouble getting anything in the basket against Purdue. We just had all kinds of trouble w/ your big man Davis. Yeah, I remember seeing you guys wear those jerseys when we played you in East Lansing last season. Geez, we're on a cold streak there. We haven't beaten you in the Izzone since '91. I thought Izzo looked like a leprechaun tonight.... ...Good luck for the rest of the season. Hopefully our 2 teams make it into the tourney.

Congrats on the win Steve.....Yeah, Indiana really just wore their modern day jerseys. They really haven't changed much over the years, but I guess Nike didn't have enough time to make our jerseys or something like that for this game. Mike Davis let us down on his promise; he said he'd have on an afro, heels, etc. He did break out the "I" tie from the 2002 Tourney run.

Stephen F. Austin Player Wallace Collapses, Dies Junior Was Shooting Baskets, Saturday Night's Game Postponed NACOGDOCHES, Texas (Jan. 30) -- Greg Wallace, a junior transfer sitting out this season at Stephen F. Austin, collapsed and died Friday while shooting baskets. Wallace, who came to the Lumberjacks from Army, was on the court at the William R. Johnson Coliseum when he collapsed, team spokesman Rob Meyers said. The 22-year-old Wallace was rushed by emergency personnel to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A cause of death has not been determined. Wallace transferred from Army to be closer to home and had to sit out this season because of NCAA rules. At Army last season, he averaged four points and 2.2 rebounds a game in 20 games. The Lumberjacks were on the team bus en route to Hammond, La., to play Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday when they learned of Wallace's death. After coach Danny Kaspar broke the news to players, the team returned to campus. Saturday night's game has been postponed indefinitely. "Basketball fades into the background when a tragedy such as this occurs," Southeastern Louisiana coach Billy Kennedy said. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the young man's family and the entire Stephen F. Austin community." 01/30/04 22:25 EST- Uh Ohhhhhhhh.....
Oh that's right.....I feel just about everyone on this board can go under that category. Here we are talking about baseball and the White Sox throughout the winter months. Just 19 more days!!- Uh Ohhhhhhhh.....
Agreed...Though I may not like EVERYTHING KW has done over the years. I really respect him to go up there and answer these questions and take heat from the fans after an offseason like this.- Pudge Signs Contract
Ha I don't think this move will really hurt us or anything. Pudge won't be able to do a whole lot in that ballpark. I'm kind of glad Detroit has at least something to start with though. - NCAA hoops thread
