January 24, 200422 yr It's only a week away, so it's time to start counting down. This thread should be used to discuss anything Soxfest. In addition, once the festivities begin, I'll be using the thread to post pictures, notes and anything else that I get from the event. Everyone else is welcome and encouraged to do the same. Looking forward to meeting several of you at the event, as it will be my first Soxfest of hopefully many more to come. AB
January 24, 200422 yr Just received my private auto passes today...Most likely to get signed are baseballs for the 20 game winners, as well as a couple of MLB certified 8 X 10's...I also have a bat to get signed that I'll most likely carry around...I wonder if Mr. Zero will come in unexpectedly (ala Billy Koch last year)... Aboz definetly be prepared with things to get signed at all times, I'll give an example... On Saturday morning around 8 or so, I was walking to the elevator when Harold Baines stands right next me, had a couple cards...Sunday Morning Josh Paul walks in next to me, had well nothing ...On the bar saturday night there was Rowand; filthy drunk,Wunsch in there, as well as Bill Melton...Leave Willie Harris alone at night with his 3 girls ...Waiting in the foyer that night, Konerko,Graffanino,Borchard, all walked right in front of me...

January 26, 200422 yr Man, I have this strange feeling that KW is gonna pull some big trade and announce it at SoxFest. Don't ask why, I just feel it.
January 26, 200422 yr Sounds like I will have at least one extra pass to Friday, and two to both Saturday and Sunday for individual admissions to Soxfest. If anyone is interested in them, I'll sell them for $5 a day cheaper than what the Sox will sell them. (You get 4 admissions with the hotel package, which I got. This just helps me pay for the weekend) If anyone is interested in any of them PM me and let me know. He IMed me a week or so ago and told me to correct someone who he thought was wrong, but he actually wasn't. Beastly thought someone had said we still had Gary Glover, but the poster just meant that Politee was going to play the role of somebody like Glover in the past......
