  1. Ha that's how I was....I saw the list, but I just think that's wrong to intrude into anyone's lives like that. However...."Now you know why I named all my kids George!....."
  2. I'm not sure if this should be in SL&P or the Sports Bar, but here it goes.... "The Associated Press mistakenly released the private numbers of over 750 sports legends. Sweet! After several failed attempts, George Foreman, the lean mean grillin' machine himself answered the phone! Hilarity ensued." George Foreman answers the phone!
  3. Exactly....it's a friggen' internet poll. The 60+% who wasted a vote on the sCrUBS......They must be quite proud of themselves. I mean they won an internet poll that means absolutely nothing on the Cubune's site...Imagine that........I mean sCrUB fans have to win SOMETIME...I guess....
  4. As a Colts fan, I have to go w/ Peyton Manning. He just established a new QB record by throwing for 25+ TDs in his 6th straight season. He's the only one to ever accomplish such a feat.
  5. I dispise Purdue, but congrats to Keady for his 500th win at Purdue.....53-51 beating Wisconsin
  6. 50-49 Purdue playing Wisconsin in Lafayette......18 seconds left.......
  7. Herb Williams might end up having the best winning percentage in the history of NBA coaches if he wins tonight!! (1-0)
  8. I definitely think he would be looking at the coaches around the league.
  9. He's definitely good at that....and I'm surprised he got another coat and tie job..... The job w/ the Raptors sure went well. He did wonders for the CBA. (:fyou) Thomas wasn't the greatest guy to be coaching the Pacers, and now the Knicks hire him as a GM. Oh boy!
  10. He would've never gotten the ball over the nets if it wasn't for the 'roids....
  11. From ESPN: Following a Tuesday meeting with owner Ralph Wilson, Mike Mularkey has accepted an offer to coach the Buffalo Bills. Mularkey emerged from his all-day meeting with Wilson and started calling Bills assistants Tuesday night to let them know he had taken the job. Mularkey, most recently the Steelers' offensive coordinator, was among the final three candidates along with former Bears coach Dick Jauron and Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis. The 42-year-old Mularkey won the job because of his past relationship with Bills general manager Tom Donahoe and his bright offensive mind. Mularkey was a candidate for the Falcons' job and has been considered a hot assistant coach for the past couple of years. Mularkey played tight end from 1983 through 1991 for the Vikings and the Steelers. He started coaching in 1993 at Concordia and joined the Bucs as an assistant in 1994 and 1995. Bill Cowher hired him with the Steelers in 1996, and he eventually became offensive coordinator. For a while, the Bills were considering an experienced head coach after letting former Titans defensive coordinator Gregg Williams go after three seasons. Jauron and Jim Fassel were at the top of that list. Then their thoughts shifted to offense. Under coordinator Kevin Gilbride, the Bills offense dropped to 30th in the league this season and averaged just 15.2 points a game. Donahoe wanted an offensive coordinator to work with Drew Bledsoe, who will remain the Bills quarterback next season. Mularkey is expected to offer the defensive coordinator job to current assistant coach Dick LeBeau. He may also pursue current Steelers quarterback coach Tom Clements to be his offensive coordinator.
  12. That's really awesome. It sucks you can't fit that into the signature.
  13. Do you all think a picture of the cast of Seinfeld would work for an illustration of the word "satire"?
  14. Ah I wish I knew how to post the picture on to here....My sarcasm one owns!! I have a picture of the sCrUBS logo ...and beside it says..."The Cubs haven't won a World Series since 1908." I have a picture of the Tigers logo...and beside it says...."The Tigers lost 119 games in the 2003 season." and then in bold words it says SARCASM, and underneath that it says..."Sarcasm would be saying these two teams are good."
  15. Speaking of words....I have to do this thing for English, and I am stumped...I have to come up for illustrations for a presentation on Friday for the words.... -sarcasm -satire -semantics Any ideas?
  16. Ha definitely....Dave Chappele is high-larious ....I'm glad to see his show's coming back on Comedy Central.
  17. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME!!!!! ahahahaha...another new great one!!!!
  18. I agree....We did lose the game...I know that....We could have stopped them and got the opportunity also. I just wish that both teams had the chance to touch the ball at least once. That part needs to be changed.
  19. Well I just don't know how we could even get anything done w/ them...We'd need to dump salary to make a deal work....Therefore it'd be Konerko, Mags, or Jose....and they have their OF, 1B, and SS spots filled. We won't trade for either of the pitchers w/ prospects when we're trying to get rid of salary. We're just kind of stuck here.
  20. Sure is!! And for this Clemens thing.... That just owns, I think he'll pitch very well being closer to home and being w/ his best bud Pettitte again.
