January 14, 200422 yr Since there isn't anything else to do today... If no major changes take place during the rest of the off season, what will the White Sox record be in 2004?
January 14, 200422 yr 88-74 ill guess, becuase were basically the same team as last yr and im predicting more victories, because I dont predict another slide like we had from late May to late June.
January 14, 200422 yr Since there isn't anything else to do today... If no major changes take place during the rest of the off season, what will the White Sox record be in 2004? Not good. Oh wait, you want digits...here's my guess: 72-90
January 14, 200422 yr Last numbers are win range with upper and lower boundaries: Burhle 15-22 Loaiza 14-17 Garland 13-19 Scho 7-14 Mystery Starters, 6-12 Bullpen probably 5-10 wins. So.... High End: 94 wins. Low End: 60 wins. Avg: 77 wins. Personally I think I skewed it a little towards the low side so that is why the Avg fell, I belive that realistically the White Sox should win 84 games with their current starters, and it will be + or - 10 victories depending on luck, ability to get a player at the All-Star break, and whether or not key players slump or get on hot streaks. SB
January 14, 200422 yr probably a little less than last year, i'm gonna go with a very boring season..........80-82
January 14, 200422 yr i'll 2nd that 82-80 prediction. just enough to show that we are an above average team! Ha.
January 14, 200422 yr The Sox will win 76 games...the Royals will be the only team in the Central that finishes over .500. The West will have 3, maybe 4 plus-.500 teams, the East will have 4-5!
January 14, 200422 yr Minny 86-76 KC 82-80 Sox 77-85. another unnecessary whiff in the weakest division in beisbol
January 14, 200422 yr I'm gonna go with 83-79 since that seems to be their average W-L record for the past decade. Hey, why mess with a sure thing???
January 15, 200422 yr If they use the horseshoes I sent them... 90-72 If they don't... 70-92 Did you include a note that said "Please plant these firmly up your ass"?
January 15, 200422 yr Probably 83-79 but I wouldn't dout them going 82-80.. For some reason, I can see Ozzie turning around this team even w/o the big names.
January 15, 200422 yr 80-81 with a late season rainout not being made up, good for a fourth place finish behind the 81-81 Indians.
January 15, 200422 yr I don't know (or care) if it's the *OFFICIAL* predictions thread.......But allow me to re-iterate: 2004 Sox wins: 93 2004 Sox losses: 69 Place in ALC: 1st (2004 Cub wins: hopefully not many. )
