Bad News -- the Vikings are most likely going to tie the game. Good News -- Manning will probably get a chance to return a kick.
-
Bowman drops a game ending pick and then our DE falls down while on a free rush to Favre -- which then turns into an easy 15 yard pass to Harvin. Perfect.
-
Zachary Bowman, they don't get much easier than that. Too bad this wasn't training camp, he would have made the pick then.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 10:24 PM) That was fast. Too fast. Favre has 5 mins left.
-
Great pass from Jay under pressure. Suck it Brett, you'll love the flavor!

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 10:02 PM) I think if you're gonna give the great GM duo the blame, Reinsdorf has to take his share as well. It's obvious the Bulls are just his cash cow while the Sox are his baby. I think you're exactly right about that. I won't go as far as to say that Reinsdorf cares less about the Bulls but he deserves a great deal of blame for holding onto Krause too long and for failing to hold Paxon accountable for his recent failures. At some point you have to hold people accountable. I know that JR is really loyal, but enough is enough sometimes. -
QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 09:47 PM) cheap heroin whore Difference between 1st half and 2nd Half? Favre has had a lot more time to throw.
-
Throw the ball away Jay. No reason to try and make a play in that situation, Bennett wasn't open. I guess Cutler thought he could fit the ball over Griffin, argh.
-
Last two drives have been eerily reminiscent of the CIN, ARIZ, MIN games earlier in the year. Favre is spreading us out like a (insert sex reference here).
-
Bears D looking shaky this second half.
-
Vikings can't give up a return like that after scoring six.
-
Bears OL played their best half of football, and the offense moved the ball. Quite a formula.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 04:16 PM) Ladd and Brouwer are complete experts at this. Ladd has been a maniac this season, but with no real point explosion. It is hard to explain but Brouwer is a menace in front of the net, while Big Byf isn't nearly as effective. For whatever reason, Brouwer just must have a better understanding of shooting lanes and obstructing the goalies plane of vision.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 08:47 PM) Seriously Ron Turner? Follow up a TD and a defensive 3 and out with a play-action bomb and then 2 screen passes? Luckily for you, this is Ronnie's last game as OC at Soldier Field.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 08:31 PM) Yes, it totally did... I mean you know you are a moron when the meatheads and mouth-breathers that call into radio shows really do know better than you. I tried to think of a single good reason at the time, I couldn't. I just kind of crossed my fingers and thought "I really hope they know what they're doing." They didn't, pretty much. I mean you get the number 1 pick (Rose) and instead of hiring a former guard to mentor him (like Avery Johnson) you hire a guy who had never coached a single game in his entire life, on any level, and never was an assistant coach, on any level. Literally the first time he coached a live basketball game was in the summer league before his rookie season. That is absolutely retarded to me. The only thing I can think of is that the Bulls hired him and fully intended to fire him and hire an established coach before the 2010 FA class. If that is the case, then they are incredibly stupid and have done Derrick Rose and injustice. The Bulls have royally bungled this whole thing up, and Pax along with Vinny and Gar need to go. I think it is time to look outside the organization for a GM that can evaluate talent and build a team better than what we have seen. -

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 02:04 PM) I like it as well. JVG is awesome. I want him or Doug Collins personally. They should have hired one of these coaches to begin with, VDN should never have been hired. His hiring alone should be justification for Paxon or Forman's firing. I mean my goodness... didn't VDN's hiring seem like a poor decision from the time it was made? -
HOLY s***!@!#@@#! What a rip, what a crazy game!!!!!
-
There is no reason that the Preds should be gaining a point here tonight, disappointing. Lets just hope they only gain 1 Point

Madden = the kinda glue guy you need on a team to win a cup.
-
Kaner just ripped a stinger past Rinne to give the Hawks a lead. Kaner went in 2 on 1 with Brouwer and used him as a decoy, the defense played pass, the goalie got deep and it was a sick ass goal.
-
ANOTHER SHUTOUT FOR NIEMI!!!! The guy is a revelation in net for the Hawks. Part of me thinks that Q has to start Niemi, regardless of how Huet is playing. However, you may not want to mess with what is working because if Niemi can't handle a full workload then you run the risk of ruining Huet's confidence and then you're stuck with mediocre goaltending. 3 shutouts in 5 games. . . amazing.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 06:51 PM) Did you get to the dance scene with Emo Tobey yet? It is almost unimaginable to me that Raimi directed 1 and 2 so amazingly and then produced this turd. The feel, tempo, and story of the third one doesn't even resemble the nuanced approach of 1 and 2. What the f*** was he thinking? His decisions on character development in 3 were appalling. The way he handled Harry Osbourne is quite possibly the worst use of a character I've ever seen. (also HOW MANY f***ING TIMES SHOULD HARRY HAVE DIED IN THIS MOVIE?) I hope that 4 gets this franchise back on track. I would have rated it near the top after 2, but 3 completely destroyed my love for the series. If I had to choose between watching S-3 and X-3 I'd probably choose death.

Spiderman 3 is on FX... I almost forgot how bad it was.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 04:39 PM) The Sox need a good lefty hitter. Bears need a receiver.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 01:50 PM) I actually have no problem with Bennett. He has hung on to the ball after taking some serious shots. I like what he has shown in his first actual year playing I agree that Bennett has shown some moxy and good hands, but I'm not sure that he has done enough to make me believe that the Bears don't need 2 new wide receivers next year.
