So the game was postponed because of this??? Wow.

My school has AP courses and IB courses. AP is advanced placement (I think) and IB is International Baceloriate (sp?). The IB Program has a whole list of thing you have to do to get the diploma, for example community service, building a website, writing an extended essay and so forth. You have to take a lot of extra tests too and it comes with a pricetag. I don't know why my sister did it, it's a lot of work for a diploma that wasn't highly regarded by colleges, according to her.

In our school system some of us start Algebra in 8th grade and the rest take it in 9th grade. I took Algebra in 8th, Geometry last year (9), and Algebra II this year. I'm in the top level Algebra class and its awesome because we get an honors point for it, and it's the only sophmore class to earn it.

Since we're bragging about our high schools here, I thought I'd give a shout out to our girls cross country team and boys soccer team on winning the state championships. Two state championships for my school on the same day two Saturdays ago. The girls XC championship was their 3rd straight and 5th in the last 6 years.

Let's see here....I broke my ring finger trying to bunt when i was 10 and the pitcher threw a 65-70 mph fastball right at me from 45 feet... Sprained ankles a few times, the worst was when I had a breakaway in basketball, went up for the layup and got pushed from behind and crashed into the wall behind the basket. I had a sprained ankle on top of a sprained wrist. My tooth splintered through my lip during baseball practice for All-Stars, that hurt. I guess you could say I got a broken lip? The last one would be a seperate shoulder while throwing a snap throw to first base while catching this summer. Nothing too serious has happened to me. *Knock on wood*

After lunch we play $1 hands everyday. I won $14 yesterday and $25 for the week. Not bad for a weeks worth of playing at school. Hopefully I do well tomorrow night at our all nighter poker party. 16 straight hours of poker starting Saturday night.

I just got back from working the polls since 6 a.m. Where I was, the polls were busy from 6-9 and then again from about 10-12. It was really slow after noon, but maybe more voters will get out later this evening after work. Where I was, they were on pace to break the old attendance record of 66%. The estimate was at 75%.

Thanks to the election tomorrow, I won't have to go to school. I am working as a poll book holder. Should be a fun day and good experience.

Our trick-or-treating was tonight. Didn't cause too much trouble. Just split one of the bowls of candy left out unattended with two of my friends and went back to the houses who gave out full sized candy bars twice each.
